Can I ask? The glue you use to put the small pieces together I assumed was pvc which dries clear but when you put the bits together on the lathe it doesn’t dry clear. Is it a different glue? Beautiful piece by the way

It's the same glue, I immediately turned it on the lathe while it was wet but the tail stock had to stick firmly to the wood, I did that because it shortened the processing time by not waiting for the glue to dry.

Yes, that's right, when I finished applying the glue it immediately turned and it was still very wet, but the tail stock had to stick to the wood to hold it.

Why do you turn when the glue is still wet?
