Saw you guys on the Perrys and fell in love with your story! This hit home for me. I am on the releasing wounds journey. And it is the most painful experience ever in my life. CD THAT PRAYER TOOK ME TO ANOTHER LEVEL. I am learning through building my relationship with Jesus and therapy that I was way more wounded than I thought but also that God my Father wants to help restore and rebuild me. You guys presented this so eloquently I am looking forward to many more episodes and wisdom from the two of you!

I saw you guys on the With the Perry’s Podcast and loved the conversation you guys had on there. I then saw a recommendation to watch this episode. While watching this episode it triggered some unresolved trauma within myself and I began to cry. Just like your daughter I have experienced so much rejection and pain from family members who were supposed to love me and guide me. I have never healed from those things, instead I buried those things because I had to be strong. But now I am ready to heal from those things and forgive those individuals. I will be doing the exercise you did with your daughter to forgive those individuals and heal from that trauma. Thank you both for this episode! ❤

Amen! These two are so inspiring at pointing us to our heavenly Father. I have cried and been moved by the Spirit they have shifted in me. I prayed this pray of forgiveness of my earthly father. May the bitterness & unforgivness leave my heart and be cast into the sea! Hallelujah and amen!!

A friend sent it to me after I shared some family hurt I was going through and half way through listening to it I stopped from my power walk and came before the Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit came in and healed me when I confessed the pain and their names and the names of others that came to mind and I asked Him to forgive me of my short comings He met me there He uprooted that sin and threw it into the sea of forgetfulness🙌✝️ I am free! I receive this prayer - I keep having these people coming into my mind that is holding me hostage. My parents for manipulating, and separating their children and all others for molestation and hurt I release it all in Jesus Christ Amen 🙏🏾

Sis Melody you hit it on head for me. Left my church HURT after being released from ministry and feeling like what I was feeling and going through at the time was just ignored. I’ve been MAD at my ex pastor for 2 years now. I’ve fought church for the last two years. Nothing has felt like home the way that place did.

I didn’t think I had anybody to give up to God till Melody started talking about the Pastor that she didn’t really have any bitterness towards but was still hurt by. It made me realize I needed to forgive the staff at a Christian theatre collage that I went to that embraced a lot of extra biblical things on the legalistic side and had tainted my view of God so bad that it caused a faith crisis. I don’t think I held any malice towards them because I know some of the staff their genuinely believed that they were really trying to help us on our walk. And I have even thanked God multiple times for letting that happen because it brought me closer to Him than ever before. But if you got me talking about them, I would not stop talking about all the problems that went on there. And I realized while listening I was still holding onto that hurt and I just needed to let it go. I’d still warn people against going there absolutely, but there is not need to hold onto the hurt.

Follow up question though, I’m pretty sure that you guys will point out this lie. But Satan’s already getting on my behind telling me that I haven’t forgiven the people at this collage enough. Even though I have released them to God, there is still a small voice trying to guilt me into saying I haven’t done enough to forgive them and that God’s going to send me to hell for it. How can I combat this?

The instruction that you gave your daughter-we need it as a book!!!!! A guided journal with the questions and prayers!

This episode and that prayer led to a personal deliverance and ended in me forgiving and releasing someone I never could have in my own strength. I seen their name as we were praying and the Holy Spirit led me to text them. Immediate obedience is also what I heard. Glory to God. I didn’t even realize that I needed to forgive this person so deeply. I just buried it. To God be the Glory. I’ve found release and deliverance. Hallelujah and Glory to God in the highest. That’s the best thing I can say right now. And thank you God: The Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Along with you two! 🥰❤️✝️🙌🏽

My wife left and we have been separated for over 18 months and your video is helping me to change who I am as person in the Lord! I fear it is too late for my marriage, although God can work miracles this is about being transformed for me.

My sister was the one brought me to hear you both through a podcast you did about fighting for your marriage. My sister and I actually met you Melody about 5-6 years ago. You were a speaker at my church’s women’s retreat (New Life Community Church my senior pastor is Mark Jobe) and you spoke on Hagar. Anywho, I am not married but as of 2 days ago I ended my engagement. Its like we were bound to each others wounds and trauma bonded. I thought I had healed from certain wounds but the longer I stayed the more the wounds began to reopen. It’s still VERY fresh but I can relate so much to Maria of being plagued by the spirit of rejection. I could seriously used some prayer right now. Any prayer is very much appreciated

This was absolutely great, helpful, healing, wisdom and authentic and practical; thank you The Fabs! Thank YOU LORD CHRIST JESUS. Tip: If the wounds are too deep and too hard to forgive yet you are convicted to forgive and/or want to be set free from anger and bitterness and/or you want to do the GOD's commands (anyway)...write a letter to GOD / JESUS CHRIST / HOLY SPRIT "Dear my LORD JESUS CHRIST" / "Dear FATHER" and process it as CD says but in writing and speak directly to GOD like JESUS did at the cross. This helps me know that I made a commitment to GOD to forgive and its tangible and that letter in my journal / notebook stays as witness to help me maintain the forgiveness. Lastly, here is a closing / sealing prayer you may use at the end of the forgiveness letter / journal or your verbal processing I learnt from one great Pastor: I RECEIVE THE BLOOD OF JESUS AS FULL AND SATISFACTORY PAYMENT FOR WHAT THEY DID TO ME. THEY OWE ME NOTHING ELSE. Bcz what they owe me, they can never pay (pain, tears, heartbreak, sorrow, grief, agony etc - all that can't be undone).

Thank you for this, I was able to forgive and let go someone that kept coming to my mind for what they did to me. I have cried through this broadcast but finally set free indeed. Wounds are subtle you never know you are wounded until medicine is applied. am grateful!
