Wounded U.S. Army First Sergeant (Ret.) John Borders Home Dedication
We recently welcomed home wounded U.S. Army First Sergeant (Ret.) John Borders and his family into their new 100% mortgage-free, specially adapted smart technology home. John is now living comfortably in a home that is designed specifically for his injuries, empowering him as he continues his recovery and supporting his family’s independence.
When asked about their home, John's wife Mollie stated, "when you see the home, you see how it is going to help him forever."
Thanks to the gracious generosity of so many grateful Americans, John is the 83rd wounded hero to receive one of the Foundation’s specially adapted homes, custom-made to fit his needs. Please take a moment and enjoy this short video welcoming John and his family home!

So great to see!!
Thank you for your service. Thank you Gary, for all you do for our heroes. 💙🇺🇸❤️👏
id be interested in knowing what would qualify a vet for this program. many wounds arent visible. and it doesnt make them any less severe or the vets who suffer from it any less deserving. i love my vets, even if i don't show it. mostly out of embarrassment because i cant help them or give them anything. ❤😢❤
