Always losing your debit card? Well, now you can keep it on hand. Literally! Implantable payment chips are now being offered for sale commercially for the first time. Placed into your hand, the microchips are entirely safe and regulatory approved, and can be used to pay for a drink on the beach or a coffee in the city. In 2021, a survey of more than 4,000 people across the UK and the European Union found that 51% would consider it. So are our ladies ready to leap into the future or is it all a bit too sci-fi for them?
