I love when people demand groomers this type of service but complain that they are charging $45 for a bath and hair cut. People don't realize the money and time it takes to perform this type of grooming service. High end products cost, high end supplies, clippers, scissors, sheers, brushes, etc all that costs a lot to purchase and maintain and lets not even talk about how time consuming it is. This type of work takes lots of time and patience. This is an incredibly experienced groomer and most likely one that had to pay for classes and courses and not your fake online courses.

Let’s not forget this is for a client that can’t speak to you. It can’t tell you if it’s uncomfortable, you have to read their body language. Dog groomers have a tough job and I commend them for being able to do what they do.

@@witchassbitch3 yes, a lot more goes into dog grooming when you compare to our own kind of grooming. Our own kind of grooming as it is becoming more complex and expensive so people have to understand that this type of work just because it's done on a pet it's not "supposed" to be cheaper.

And don’t forget they have to live to. They need money to buy food and pay rent or bills or whatever they pay for, the only Reason people should be demanding a refund is if the hurt the dog in some way.

Couldn't agree more! I also dislike a lot of owners complaining about the look of their dog afterwards. Some people don't comb their own dogs and end up having mats in their fur, and these groomers go above and beyond for the care of the dog!

Some pet salons use a bit of anesthesia on pets so they stay calmer and the procedure goes better, but maybe the dog really was just relaxed and feeling good 🤔

@@minnowthewarlock5988 Oh, they definitely do. This is a very common practice in the Eastern countries. It is illegal in America, though, so you don't have to worry about that if you live there. Please understand that dogs are generally averse to doing something they don't want to do, and will try to get away. Puppies are usually the worst in these situations because they haven't had the experience or training to know grooming is good. I am a professional dog groomer in America.

You're 100% correct. The best camera work is when you don't even realize the camera's there -- instead you feel as if you're physically present. That's what these videos are like.

@@lindammiller9253 I groom my own dogs, I bought a kit off Amazon & it's not difficult. It is easier though if you start grooming them from when they're a puppy, so they get used to all the sensations & noises :)

You know, I usually do the grooming between 1,5-2 hours. And the OWNERS!!!!! always complain, why does it take so LONG!!! Like wtf???? I am not here to abuse your dog to be able to do the grooming in 45 minutes (which is the time they want me to do a whole groom on the dogs).

Well part of it is the dog's natural personality but mostly, dog groomers are trained to calm down dogs and do everything in a way that wouldnt send the dog into a frenzy. If your dog is super agitated, you should find a new groomer.

His little eyes are at half mast and I'm starting to yawn myself! So relaxing.

The owner be like after getting his dog from the salon: !!!!??? ....I thought my dog was brown o.o
