i have no experience with any hk products but seeing as the mp5 is 1/3 plastic, the mag well is probably just fine

Certain aluminum alloys are quite sturdy.. but it’s still aluminum at the end of the day

It's not like it's anywhere near the explosion of the round, the only reason it wouldn't be durable
