After watching both parts I think the only things I would invest good money in are the concealer stick you used and a good blurring powder. 🙌🏻 All the rest of the drug store products did basically the same thing as high end.

If I paid $280 for setting powder, it better last 50 years and still let me pass some down when I die.

If you really compare, the expensive side os obviously more smoother, colors look njcer and more blended, and idk…its just better!! 😂 as someone who has worked for multiple cosmetic companies and basically every makeup store, i can tell you that the expensive stuff always wins! 💄💋💰✨ of course I have affordable products that I love as well, but just coming from the perspective of a make up artist/make up junkie, expensive stuff always wins. Lets be real.

It's looks awesome. Your expensive side, I love that blush more... but I'm poor so it would never be in my house. I think that blush would look so stellar as eye shadow for a natural going to the beach glow

Well, u can see it with the setting powder (under the eye)... but that's just me being picky. Though, u looking gorgeous ❤💙

This only works for her because she is very young. Alot of Drugstore Makeup does not look so good on older women.

If you look after your skin you can wear it. Im 56 and I use an expensive Australian product called O Cosmetics for my day and night skin routine and their sunscreen but use cheaper makeup and it works. You can use a cheaper collagen and retinol for you skin too, I use more expensive because i have rosacea, but any will help, takes about 6 weeks to start working but I recommend all women young or old should use collagen and retinol serums with a really good sunscreen all year round on its own or under makeup. Trust me it's worth doing, when I'm out with my 36 year old son people think he's my husband 😂.

being older i find that taking care of my skin and using less makeup works best for me. i also avoid cosmetics that have toxic ingredients. with todays prices for food and rents and gas prices and the overall cost of living theres no way the average woman can afford spending thousands of dollars on cosmetics.

I can assure you the cheap said is only nice upon application. After a few hours that expensive side will show why it's expensive. It will look like money well spent compared to the cheap side on an oily girl

I wonder what the make-up looks like 8-12 hours later. Which side lasts longest and best.

Make up is only as good as the person who is applying it. High end make up could still make a person look like a train wreck as much as the low end can make you beautiful. Seen plenty of high dollar train wrecks walk-in around.
