No. Not wanting to date a trans person does not make you a bad person. Preferences exist and they should be respected. I'm a lesbian and I won't ever date a trans woman. Many lesbians such as myself are sexually attracted to the female genitalia and some lesbians don't mind a penis. Theres nothing wrong with a lesbian dating a trans woman at all. Because you assume people are men and women based on you’re perspective of what you think a man/woman is. Here’s the real kicker, gentalia =/= gender because one is social. Yes sex of a trans woman my be a man but they are still a women whether you respect that or not. There is not such thing and a real woman because every one sees a what a woman/man is differently if that makes sense. cognitive dissonance is the conflict between one’s own actions and beliefs correct? The action it that you love someone who is/looks like a woman to you and the conflict comes from thinking of them previously being a man I’m assuming. After going through a long process of change it’s safe to say that a person has changed enough in order to be who they say they are. Like you would say someone who had gone through cancer treatment still had cancer same as someone who went through a full transition isn’t there birth gender anymore. I get how the idea of that can be conflicting but when they have gone through the process (fully) them they aren’t any different to an infertile woman. Also, by “is gone as soon as something else drops out” you mean that you have a genital preference? It’s fine to have a genital preference but don’t discredit trans people because they are still who they say they are regardless. (I hope this makes sense. I don’t want to come off rude. Because if not, it doesn’t matter what they act like, it doesn’t matter what surgeries they have had, it doesn’t matter that some women cannot have kids, they are still not an adult, human female. I don’t care what they act like, I don’t care how they act, what I care about is how everyone is just ignoring biology. You can say, “I want to live as a woman. I want to acts as a woman.” Even, “I want to be a woman,” but the sad truth is no one born a male or female is going to ever be a member of the opposite sex. We have to stop pretending the opposite is true. It’s just not. Now, you can make the argument and I would agree that even despite this biological fact people can still do their own wants to their own bodies but where it stops is the truth. You cannot make a claim based in lies, the whole foundation is false. Gender identity and roles can be divorced (rather negatively for society) from biological sex but biological sex isn’t made up, it’s not societal, it is a fact and force of nature that no one on this planet can overcome.

I wouldn't date a Trans Identified Person because I wouldn't want to deal with the baggage that comes with them. Doesn't matter what they have deluded themselves into preforming outwardly, just the fact they are deluded alone is reason enough to not want anything to do with them. I have a friend in my group who is a Lesbian and a Pat Type. She's basically a butch if you wanna get technical here, but she "identifies" as Non-binary. Okay. Whatever. She explained she knows she's a woman, she doesn't make anyone use weird pronouns or even care about that. She just isn't a Feminine woman and feels identifying as Non-binary removes the social pressure upon her to try and be more feminine. However, Pat Type friend is married to another woman who recently in the last year or so decided that she wanted to Transition to being a man...and demanded that Pat Type Friend also medically and socially transition so that they can remain a Gay couple. Let that sink in... Two married women...a lesbian couple. One decides suddenly after 5 years of marriage that she is a man, and demands her partner medically and socially transition as well so they can continue being a Gay couple... When Pat Type friend refused she was met with the meltdown of the century, accused of never really having loved her crazy wife, and served with divorce papers because she wouldn't support her wives transition by also transitioning. Otherwise Pat Type, being LGBT and woke as she is, was willing to accept her much more feminine than herself wife lopping off her breasts, growing a mustache and even getting the arm skin roll up wanker inserted into her, if that's what it took to be in support of her wife. She just wouldn't do all that to herself...but because she wouldn't that meant, to Bat Sh!t crazy Wife, that they would become a Heterosexual couple if only one transitioned and that was unacceptable enough to thtow a fit and file for divorce. Not only would I never date a Trans Identified Individual, but to be safe I would never date a Woke individual either. You're just asking for the worst kind of drama and heartbreak of you do.

As a libertarian, to each their own. Personally, I prefer the contours of my wife, her smell, her taste, and beautiful fun parts. I love her for her maternal instincts, and everything that makes her a biological female. I don't believe calling someone gay is an insult, if that's their choice. That being said, ofcourse they are gay/bi. Personally, I am not. I wouldn't, and couldn't feel the same about her if she were not a biological female. Being trans isn’t a mental illness. If it was it wouldn’t have biological evidence. Like autism, you’re born trans. Trans gender dysphoria causes other mental illness when not helped (that means transition). Unlike autism transness isn’t a disability either. That’s because of the fact it can come up at any point in life but with autism you’re autistic and act in certain ways from birth. I just wanted to make that clear. And mental illness isn’t a bad thing it’s probably worse for the person themselves dealing with the illness than the person who sees them struggle with it ya know? (I used autism as an example because I am autistic). Plus, I don’t think anyone would want to date someone who doesn’t want to date them either but you don’t have to disrespect the other person just because you’re not attracted to them.

It depends on your reason. As a trans person who isnt insane, im gonna be logical here. If the reason you wont date them is because they do not have the genitals you are attracted to. That is not transphobic. If they have had bottom surgery but biological kids with your partner is something you want and not being able to do that is a deal breaker? That is not transphobic. If your reason however is JUST that they are trans. That is transphobic. Most people who wouldnt date a trans person isn’t being transphobic.
