I enjoyed it Thanks
Thank you for the informative lesson!
Excellent class, i learned a lot
An important thing your missing is that would can imply future actions. Eg, "I would train to climb Mount Everest" meaninig, this is a hypothetical, but I will try it.

You're right that "Would" has many other uses. This lesson is only focused on how it compares to "used to" in the past.
Excellent 👍
Thanks a lot, it's very clear!!!!

That you for this short, but effective lesson. I will try to make some example sentences to put it into practice. My grandfather would walk four kilometer everyday to arrive at school. As a toddler, I would go to kindergarten from Monday to Thursday As a baby, I would cry every night I used to do gymnastic every Monday and Wednesday. After some days I got a bit sick of it and drop off My grandmother used to make the best empanadas. They were mouthwatering!🥟 From the ages 3 to 8, I would be afraid of the dark 🌙 I used to have difficulties at understanding Math. Nowadays , it is one of my favorite subjects As a child, I used to hate fish. Now I love it 🍣 I really appreciate all your help in learning English 😊

Hey Nicky! Great job on these examples. You used "would" and "used to" perfectly in almost all the examples. Here are a few corrections: - My grandfather would walk four kilometer*s* *every day* to arrive at school. - I used to do gymnastic*s* every Monday and Wednesday. After *a few* days I got a bit sick of it and *dropped* off. - From *age* 3 to 9, I *used to* be afraid of the dark. (Being afraid of the dark is a state. It's not an isolated action that repeats again and again)
Thanksss

Thanks for a great lesson! I have one question: Can we use "would" in negative sentences when we talk about past habits? For example, when I was a kid, I would never have a nap but now I do.
THX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sir kindly explain the word UPON in detail other than meaning or sense of ON Fuzail Bukhari from Karachi
Hi, I am Mohammad Suleman from Pakistan. I really confuse about this sentence. I am used to getting up early. But "To" takes only first form of verb
يعني ثانكيو فيري ماتش
