Would SCP-999 do This? - SCP-617 Will Eat You - Pet Rocks

SCP 617 is a Euclid Class anomaly also known as Pet Rocks.
SCP-617 has the appearance of a large granite rock, except that it possesses a zipper in its side that is fully operational. When unzipped, SCP617 is shown to possess a mouth with teeth that appear similar in appearance and construction to human teeth.
SCP-617 has an active digestive system, and sustains itself on a diet primarily consisting of fresh meat. Since it is unable to obtain food on its own, SCP-617 persuades its "owner" to gather food. The owner will then resort to any means to feed SCP-617.

As much as I enjoy the videos I prefer them when they show a bit of the anomaly wreaking havoc or just being chill and then we get a Foundation approved information show explaining the anomaly in labs. This approach really leaves the Foundation by the side and like the Voodoo Dolls show, they can leave important details out of the files.

If someone, I assumed to be a kid, dropped off their pet rock. I would make sure it lived on my desk for the rest of time, if only because of the emotion and the sadness I imagine a small child had when dropping it off to me in the first place. Kids personify, and that gets to me easily.

@@IMADINOSAURNOTABIRD according to the article, the rock only influences people to gather meat for it by any means possible. It doesn't need them to stick their fingers into its mouth unless there's no other source of food. So, even accounting the influence of the rock, she was acting stupid. Also, the point of SCP is, in fact, to attempt to explain the anomalies as much as possible. That's what's different about it.

Honestly adding more to a pet rock in the real world have potential to be useful if you know what to do. Take the USB-Pet Rock. I can see where the person was going with adding a USB port to a pet rock. But why stop there and turn into a storage device by making it where you can store data and memory and all that so it be of some use instead of just a pet rock that still does nothing even when you plug a USB into it. With that you can say you now can feed your pet rock with data.

As much as I like this channel I really couldn't care less about these random civilians. I just want to see how the Foundation got ahold of it and what crazy experiments they've done.

Ahhh but all good content has filler especially for a anomaly such as SCP 617 but you could always support the Fondation buy buying their hard cover books for amazing content 😉 👌 and no I'm not advertising just a fan glad you enjoy this stuff

@@kreed415 I know but it seems to be becoming more frequent. Are you talking about the kickstarter books? I've actually already backed them. They look cool.

i think it’s a cool change of pace, a little more similar to their backrooms content. the format is nice but i appreciate the stories of the foundation more than civilians. the backrooms channel it works for, cause it’s in second person following one explorer

Honestly I like these ones. It gives things a more personal touch when we see what the hell this thing does to a normal person

Bruh, did it have some sort of mental control over her? Why tf couldn't she just go and buy feeder mice or even meat from a grocery store?
