Wrong in both accounts. Both are heavily gear dependant specs. ESPECIALLY destro. Against other low res targets, yah an ubdergrared destro can blow someone up. But against targets with resil? Ur chaos bolts tickle, and that’s even if ur innovate doesn’t get dispelled

Can someone give some tips for pally / war vs double dps caster teams? Setups like boomkin / ele shammy etc. have been extremely difficult to deal with.

Overal retri benefits very little from 2h, since main source of dmg is seals and judgement that scale from AP only. With shield you get 1 more DPS button (shield of righteousness) that actually hits pretty hard. Other obvious benefits are increased survivalibility against physical DPS ofc.

Their sp guides are notoriously lacking. They were practically abandoned after they fell off meta in SL, so I doubt they will get proper treatment in wrath/DF.

Did you count Ret/Frostmage not in because it’s for the later seasons, or did you forget about it? You said B Tier is chaotic and not so consistent, but Ret Frostmage is pretty strong and relies on control and lockdown. And it’s insanely strong

I made my Hpal Lv70 before Wotlk start. but a friend of mine told me that Warlock was very good and made me play it. I'm 40lv Warlock now.

3 months later after the season ended and this list was not wrong at all. Feels like everything was scored/ranked perfectly lol. EDIT: Waiting for the S6 tier list now :)

Warlocks were one of the most powerful PvP classes in vanilla and TBC. I feel that in Wotlk they are significantly weaker but that's life.

@@jeremyrowe8224 umm the complete opposite. It crushed casters. Doesn’t take any damage. Hard to cc. Preg is great against melee and casters.

Wow seriously not a single mention to the comp destro lock - frost mage? This is top tier comp, very few to none can counter that if played properly. Also there are other comps that synergize very well and you didn't even mention them.

Your not going to see that comp whatsoever in season5… the lack of haste gear makes mages awful. Disc priest feral Druid is by far the best comp in 2s for season 5. Enhancement rogue and enhancement preg is broken too.

I thought FERAL/ROGUE was like at least A tier, specially in S5 where resil is Still low… deadly setups, nasty burst… Also, there are some ROGUE/DK comps REALLY high rated in some private servers.

the thing about comps is ... if its good against 50% of comps but rly bad against the other 50% ... the comp is gonna be trash. and on the example of feral+rogue .. its garbage against the #1 toptier hpally+ms the most played comp of em all

Any half decent team with mortal strike will shut that down with pressure. Mage rogue? Reset on kidney dr, and cross cc on the Druid, and keep doing so until they run out of cd’s. Warrior pally? Constant pressure with mortal strike while pally lines cc. The healers will oom, or a kill opportunity will present itself. Pretty much any good double dps or healer dps comp will absolutely body a double healer comp

I used to run Ele Sham / Resto Druid to great effect. You simply alternate cyclone DR until one of them is dead. Cyclone stops the healer, cyclone stops the target from being healed, cyclone pauses their ability to work at the same time, and then theres also root in a pinch. Tstorm is used to control their positioning and give you more time to cast as well. I would hands down take a resto druid over a holy pally as an Elemental shaman. 1h ret sounds like something interesting i'd like to try out too.

Yeah resto druids were good back in the day when we didn’t know better. Now Druid is super behind every other healer and is hard countered by rogues, especially s5. I’m not playing with a resto Druid ever this xpac

@@hamm8934 food back in the day? buddy, it sounds like you didnt play a single day of wotlk. druids were the go-to healer for 2s, maybe not on release, but definitely by the second/third season. dru/lock and dru/war were like 50% of our matches, and we beat them too. ground/tremor/cyclone/hex and positioning win the matches, but the matches are long and contrition based. we were no stranger to 20 minute matches, no joke!

@@TheMarcosvolta I’ve played wrath private servers quite consistently for the past decade. Resto druids are the worst healer in wrath. They have no magical dispel, have no defs (they can get deleted by a rogue or dk in s5), and are hard countered by priests 2x offensive dispels or shaman purge. All resto Druid has going for it is NS clone (assuming someone doesn’t insta purge the NS off). These days, resto druids spend the match rebuffing because they are purged to death and can’t put out solid heals and tunneled into the ground because of their poor defense or sit in bear form until they or their team dies from cleave. They can’t even dispel polymorph or a basic frost nova lol no melee is gunna wanna have a resto druid healer. People are much better these days. Resto Druid was only “good” because the average player didn’t know what they were doing. Blizzard has mentioned they’d be open to #somechanges for classes that are performing poorly and honesty I wouldn’t be surprised if they buff restore druids in some way

Dispel flame shock, and line shaman. Wow I just survived ur cyclone. Now I’m on cyclone dr, and I’m sitting your rdruid with full bleeds and mortal strike up, and my healer just cc’d u. What do you do? No magic dispel and all ur damage is tied to a dispellable debuff. Any comp that stacks magical debuffs will give you a rough time. Shadow/affliction, shadow/rogue, warrior hpal, Mage rogue.

I was excited for pvp but I just get 1-shot in bgs. It's so unbalanced it's a joke.
