You are never alone and 85 isn't too old for God to use. He still has a work for you to do. Find out what you like doing and help somebody else do it...even if it's cooking, speaking and giving advice...God can use you and wants to.

God is worthy even through our trials and tribulations. Recently, my husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer. I was down for a moment, and then I came across this song, and it lifted me up and gave me joy and a new hope. I love this beautiful song and the singing.

I haven't listened to worship music in months, nor gone to church in that same amount of time. Just now in the middle of my job grinding out hard work. This song came rolling off my tongue, out of no where, and I began to sing it! in this Good Friday....High and lifted up Jesus Son of God...Darling of Heaven Crucified...

1999... The Lord found me...I had just found out my girlfriend had been cheating on me....I was so discombobulated... hurt...I moved back to my mother's house.. in a state of heaviness for several weeks...I was drinking and getting high to cope with everything... while in heaviness.. one day in the afternoon, I noticed the VCR tape of Christ The Lamb of God sitting on top of the Tv..I forgot few weeks prior I had ordered it.. high.. and drunk ..I curiosity to watch it...I had nothing else to do I thought to myself.. I put the video on.. and I was captivated for 45 minutes as the video was a reenactment of the life of Jesus Christ here on the earth... I had been raised in church all my life... but really never knew Jesus... the video was 45 minutes long... but when it got to the part where Jesus was hung on the cross...I felt a fear and sense of belief that was so intense that my high and heaviness disappeared...I had a instant sensation of vividness.. my mind was clear...I realized for the first time... that there was God who loved us... and 2000 years ago sent His son into the world as a witness.. but they crucified Him...I instantly felt the Presence of Jesus in my house..it was so graphic and intense I looked around in the living room thinking I could see Him.. because I was aware that he was raised from the dead... I remember crying saying thank you JESUS.. over and over... as I stood there .. saying that.. something hot but not uncomfortable..slowly started at the top of my head going through my body... to my feet... and I wasn't aware of what happened but it was all Devine.... everyday after that I felt Jesus with me...I felt like I had discovered the greatest thing in the world.. the knowledge of Jesus crucified but raised from the dead.....I tell anyone reading this.. just incase you've experienced the reality of Jesus too.. or you don't know... I say to you there are many witnesses of Him even this generation proclaims This Gospel... Glory be to God!!!!!
