I would like to see a review of the story: "The Fearmonger". A very early audio drama in the Big Finish catalogue starring Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred, written by Jonathan Blum, a much more common name in the novel spaces of Doctor Who Canon.

I do wander since mondas is a twin of earth, there were two factions the cyber mondans and the cyber faction The mondans are the ones that wanted to keep some level of their organic form The faction were the ones that wanted to embrace their cybernetics and get rid of as much organic matter as possible I do wander if the faction were the chinese/russians communists as the full cybernetic approach does feel very in line with the chinese and soviet communism everyone is equal and identical without identity while the mondans i imagine to be the americans , only converting what they have to because they value freedom and identity , the mondans were kind of arrogant compared to the moonbase and future faction encounters, even having names in the novelisation . Mostly capitalist based cybermen, taking what they need like from the earth in the tenth planet The faction had left mondas by the time the tenth planet happened
