It really should have included the Steelbook, too
The audio CD's included so often, especially in RPG collector's editions, is mainly due to the Japanese market. For reasons I'm not entirely sure, Japanese consumers are still obsessed with audio CD's for video games. If a limited edition has a different variant for the North America and Europe, it will often not include the audio CD included in Japanese/Asian versions, but Square Enix released this CE more or less the same cross all regions.

Very good point! Even with all my time in Japan, I hadn't really noticed the trend there
