the reason pilot training is so popular is because its easy to run on mobile and week computers, its also because its free and has many different options and is easy to control. it also gets regular updates and the developers are still aktive and release videos from time to time.

The reason why PTFS is that popular is because it has been in roblox for 10+ years (i think), and it takes a much simpler experience to flying rather than newer games like Project Flight (which costs robux, bro forgor to put that in) Also, aint NO WAY bro forgor to put in FlightLine

@@themis_-gk5phits 50p, its not much but you do have to add on the extra addons for the 787, 777, a330, a350 etc but its defo worth 50p just for the base game. ptfs is a lot better in multiplayer because it actually has a cabin but project flight is better physics, models and graphics

7:55 The arrows are the overwing exit markings, This is because the b737 does not have self inflating slides for its overwing exits and as such, the passengers need some guidance for exiting, to prevent them from going the wrong way.

Good to see you having *fun* at roblox flight sim. The reason why PTFS is popular because it is a very old and classic game. It doesn’t have much complex control(press z for a and d for rudder btw) but it’s detailed in map. Many features it has like the mission. In some military bases there has a low level flight test. Another flight sim I highly suggested is Flightline, since 2014. Quite detailed as Project Flight. It does have Attitude Indicator and first person. Some more advanced features like ILS, flight plan, autopilot(which follows flight plan). It only has one developer tho, JayManLive

The main reason why PTFS is low-key the best flight sim on the Roblox platform is because of it's simplicity which allows players from all ranges to play it, constant updates (although made by 2 devs) and because they stay true to what they really are, a roblox game, most flight sims nowadays use blender to make their models which is good yeah and all what you want but you're in roblox, it's best to stick to what the platform gives you, not something extra, and apart from that, the updates: i've never seen anyone hate any ptfs update, every update done by the devs is mainly because people request it and agree with it in the discord server, like plane remodels, new islands, new features, etc. And the ptfs youtubers and community are quite nice, never being toxic nor doing anything that could ruin the ptfs reputation, which also applies to the devs, never getting involved in drama from any style, I'm happy to be part of that community.

PTFS isn't really a simulator, it's more of a sandbox, it's simplicity appeals to mostly kids or people looking for a laid back experience. A simulator is a game that actively attempts to simulate flying to a *realistic* degree, which ptfs doesn't do in any form. Simulation games are games like flightline, and even older games like APWA.

Atleast they're not like PF where they charge robux for being able to play and again they charge for larger planes (literally the large planes are A330, A350, B777 and B787 and they all cost 100+ robux each) Your a guy that looks for a bit of realism, PTFS is for all ages, PTFS is what got me understanding the base of aviation. I wouldnt be a guy making a red arrows group rn in Roblox if it wasn't for ptfs. Project flight on the other hand, you can't just hop in and play it smoothly. You need past experience or knowledge. how I started playing project flight or other flight sims smoothly was due to the fact I knew when to descent, what speed, what altitude, how to land etc from PTFS. Ptfs is more of a sandbox/simplified sim for everyone. My friend who is 27 years old plays this and obviously kids under the age of 8 play it too.

@@sirglitch5892 ptfs aint, orange rn is working on remodels and we can see this game in the next months or years more realistic, interactable and simple to play which can deliver more memorable experiences than all the other ones. Meanwhile Aeronautica and other games give hard landings which makes other people quit the game entirely so, its not overrated, its just more user-friendly.

Some reasons on why ptfs dosent have crash physics or animations: Due to the fact that every plane is made in roblox studio orange once said its going to be impossible for them to add gear flaps or crashing because the plane remaker or creator would have to remake every plane and that would take a long time and it did have crash physics a long time ago but it was only fire. Names arent accurate because copyright. And ptfs is so popular because of the community the devs and just the game in particular its simple and easy to learn. The devs are peacefull and stay with robloxs items they give instead of using things like blender ect and the ocmmunity is honestly one of the best roblox communitys ever due to the fact that the youtubers arent toxic updates or revamps are nearly constant theres always new things for people to do even if the game isint updated yet and they allow us to veiw the proggres of the updates with another game where we can see the current progress of revamps of planes or even new planes being made! [hence why theres a brand new turboprop airliner and tankers]. so thats some of the many reasons on why PTFS is the most popular and highest rated game so far.

I think that, as you say, i preffer PTFS because is simpler. You can find around 83 planes to fly, alone or with friends. You can also, for example, join Roleplay Communities and simulate airlines, you can Actually enter to a vatsim in the game. ✈ The gamepasses are'nt as expensive that in PF. Maybe the way that people choose PTFS over PF is by: Variety, Optimization, compability and cost. 💰

My friend by a BUG did -1fpm (butter) Edit: And the reason of why more people play PTFS more than PF is... That cuz PF costs rbx and PTFS is free

Trick to always get butter: set your speed at 25%,set flaps at land,then bring your plane down slowly then up and boom butter but you might get firm (you landed all of your back gears) good landing or smooth.

You forgot flightsline How to play flights line 1.(V)= push back 2.(F)= flap 3.(space bar)= show all controll 4. (Domble E)= Shut down all the engine 5.(E)= Start engine 6.(B)= Brake 7.(g)=gear up gear down

try flight line it's also good and very realisticly designed game but it doesnt have that much liveries for planes or airports but still very fun

Aeronautica has an absolutely massive map, if a standard roblox avatar was to walk across, it would take a couple hours and long range flights usually take 20min to an hour to complete. Not to mention that it has that it has hundreds of islands

FunFact: For PTFS, a few days ago they remodeled the B737 And A380 and are now in the game.

PTFS for low-end Computers and mobile, flightline or project flight for high end computers (Not crazy high end). You can go on low graphics for flightline or project flight , i was running project flight on a old dell laptop i used low graphics.

Glad to see PTFS here. Tbh i had more fun in it than in an actual flight simulator like Xplane Also on fighter jets there the afterburner starts running after 60% throttle Also by pressing P you could turn on reverse thrust to slow yourself down or drive backwards

Weird thing about PTFS is Overspeed i mean full throttle is not much right? But it would go 400+ knots that weird

In aviation airfield there is a way to flare. Just approach a runaway and go to a speed that is red. Once u done it. Pitch up and keep pitching up untill the perfect angle. Let the plane touchdown and there u go!

Fun fact, project flight has a discord server were you can join a server and get Full ATC

My fav flight sim is Msfs but on roblox its project flight (also i liked my own comment cause i know know one else will like it)

A game about equivalent to project flight but is free is flightline, and i recommend people playing pilot training flight simulator to try it. tons of graphics and a bit harder to understand but it's a good game.

PTFS so popular just because its simple and gives you lot of possibilities for RP or just fly. Also, there are very big amount of planes and not the planes, you can just spawn fighter and fly, or helicopter, or VTOL plane. This is game is mostly used for RP because you dont need to gain something, complete quests and other, spawn plane, and fly!

I usually plays PTFS if I want to relax And I usually plays Project Flight if I want to be professional and realism.

PTFS Good free selection Not every second plane is for robux like in PF Very big map So many things to Role Play(Ditching,Ground crew,Marshal,Coast guard) Players don't ignore ATC Weather Interesting planes for Robux(AN-225,Air force,Water planes,A380,Coast guard) Very good for making stories because there is Free cam(I have 3 stories on my channel) Big selection of Islands and even bigger selection of airports When you are ATC you can print map of that airport and its more realistic and RP The whole game is for free and after you can buy few game passes This is my opinion :P

I like project flight the most. and by the way a new flight sim called novus flight simulator just came out last week I think its even more realistic than project flight and its free to play however only 2 aircrafts currently but more liveries than project flight id love to see you check it out soon 😊

We need the wing tip blinkers on all planes of ptfs planes i wonder why the developers don't add it like its the main thing for a plane it. Only the new Atr module uses the white blinker on wing tips and other planes don't.

if you want a big world to explore wile it being difficult to progress, then try aronautica. if you love simplicity yet detail, wile it also having actual free planes, try PTFS, but if you really only care about lots of detail (but don't care about a small plane selection with most of the good planes costing robux) then try project flight. btw, Aronautica has the most planes+the mos airports by far out of all of them.

NOVUS flight simulator is also a good game, although it has less stuff and a bit more bugs because it is in its alpha version right now, it has a lot of potential to be among the greatest

The thing about project flight is you need a very good device to play the game and I don’t have a good enough device to play the game so the game crashes

I just want to mention something about PTFS. You said the plane models aren't very good but you only looked at 2 out of 100+ aircraft. The 737 engine sounds are more accurate than the ones in project flight. I know this because I go to the airport at least twice a week and see them all the time
