I'd like to agree - however after playing quite a bit of this beta - the developers can and will change anything at will as they still have that right/ability. The fact remains - it's growing and changing. It may not always change in a manner that benefits you or anyone else - just roll with it and enjoy the journey.

i agree with you. half the time things are still in Chinese and you have no idea what it says. i played the previous beta as well and imo this is not as good as the last one. seems like the game got dumbed down a LOT

I'm in permanent update screen haze, I can move and run around but the update screen haze and info are still up and pressing escape just lets brings up a mouse pointer and doesn't let me bring up map or log out. I literally can't play.

I cant wait for the full release. I got burned out maxing everything in this beta. Be it the max level, exploration points fully completed or tier 5 gear fully calibrated. Manor Lords next week and V Rising full release in May will keep my mind off the game. And hopefully they put more detail and change a few things in the map to refresh it for full release.

a lot of burn out going on. i wished they opened the game up to give older players a reason to stick around. i like playing this game with friends

"BETA" is supposed to be a tier of progress in development. For example. Alpha, Beta, Early Access, Release. In "Alpha" games are supposed to have CORE game mechanics changed, things like durability, being added, removed, balanced, etc. In a BETA - things are supposed to be mostly hashed out, and checking for odd bugs, like floating resources/objects (which are PLENTIFUL in this game) and more balance changes, as well as testing server-sided things, to ensure the game can handle the mass influx of players expected.... they don't seem to be following the traditional paths though, and everyone calling every game "pre release" a "BETA" is stupid. this game is disappointing honestly . It's honestly years away from being 'ready' but it will be slopped out - get a influx of players, and die within 4 months.

Gatekeeping will always exist.. In PVE cus people can take advantage of something longer than if it were common knowledge and get patched quick. And in PVP cus advantage is everything. I don't agree with blanket nerf/buffing stuff like their doing, but haven't they said multiple times this beta was strictly for testing and fleshing out all the games systems?

@@unclemusclez That's where the main problem lies. Most of their stuff is lost in translation and makes literally no sense. They need to hire a proper translator and a team who can properly communicate with the English portion of the player base. Also some other guy said they're focusing now more on the phone version than the PC version which if so this game is dead sadly.

@@depracated i get this. my main problem is that i see these patterns in games too often where developers give certain players an advantage, seemingly intentionally. I'd rather identify it and be wrong about it than not say anything. Hopefully, its just coincidence.

I'm really growing tired of studios behavior patterns TBH. I agree with pretty much everything you ranted about bro. I just hope they keep doing what is right and stop taking wrong turns! I really like this game core...and yeah, people are trying hard to gatekeep stuff like acid farming as well as stardust mining...timto keep doing VoDs about these hot topics buddy!

I quit after the first PvP experience. Attackers have so much advantage stealing stardust. Spawncamping etc.

anything you can get from pvp is not really worth it to pvp for. you can get all that stuff other ways. the pvp feels ok, but there is no incentivize to go to the pvp spots for the most part.

YOOO What is this acid recipe you are talking about?????? Also yes, less flowers on the ground this beta as well as several steps backwards IMO on several things. Server merge caught me off guard, I lost my fence line and a few other items but whatever. Hopefully its a lot more IN YOUR FACE HEADS UP! Half the time text isnt working, translated horribly, or isnt translated at all - there really needs to be better communication on things like that. I lost a good spot due to that. Also all my Dig bois only give me gravel copper and bronze even when I move to Lone wolf or chalk peak - its freaking lame.

Bro can you just talk into the mic at a steady pace.. like what are you doing? Sitting back in your chair then forward then throwing your headset or mic out the window? You are loud then quiet then normal like all over.. pick a spot.. talk at a steady pace and be a little better prepared. There is some good information here but it buried in your "umms" and your lack of not even knowing if what you are telling us is even true or not lol. Overall I like the video but lets try to be a bit more consistent with your volume and your information. Maybe have talking bullet points.. time stamps in the video would be nice as well. Thanks,

I agree with portion of this but let’s start of by the game is still in beta. I don’t think people have an advantage over others they’re just good at these games. It’s a looter shooter…..you kill stuff and collect loot. They won’t expand the game because it’s still in beta and you said it yourself your level capped which is why they are making the PVE more difficult. I gained 20 levels in 1 day….albeit a 13hr day. And players don’t like people showing game exploits because it allows players to breeze through the game. Also you should read the patch notes as this is a testing beta. So as they notice things in there end they will adjust accordingly or introduce new game loops to add difficulty.

I agree about the beta. Maybe I didn't emphasize this enough, but it's a pattern I've seen in other games that ruined themselves, and I am starting to see here, but I am hoping I am wrong that it is malicious or intentional. I disagree about your exploit statement. Everyone wants to know. The people that don't want others to know are the ones that want to use it without repercussion. If everyone knows about an exploit, it should be reportable in game. Let the community deal with it. I don't mind staying up to date on the patch notes, but to be honest nothing about the updates or release of this beta have been accurate as far as timing. The game said it was going to update 2 days ago, then half of the rewards were released 6 hours before they merged servers, a day later. The server never even went down (which that part is impressive af, I cannot lie, wow).

@@unclemusclez i wouldn’t necessarily call the acid farm an exploit, bad example but hear me out. The have a in game vending machine for player to player sales, another game loop. By advertising the “easy way” or giving out the formula you prevent these types of game loops. Now o know people don’t think people should maybe sale things in game to other players, but it’s also a survival game. So for those who have the acid carb there’s a purpose for those who need acid. I don’t think you were wrong at all for the video, it make me wanna start an acid farm 😂😂😂 but i do see the other side. I do on the other hand think the game is a bit too easy and leveling is too easy, you can literally break rocks for 3-4hrs and gain crazy xp and levels. Also there are soo many ways to gain xp for you tree it makes leveling almost every effortless. So i think they need to dial it back if they want a long term player base. I also think the at why they merged servers cause a lot of people were saying we see all the houses but no people. So maybe in an effort to bring player together they reduced the servers. Nice chat!
