Don't feel bad for Momo, she gets treated like a proper main dancer. That's what she's always wanted to do. I don't think every idol gets gratification from singing lines, they might get it from being center or getting a dance break and she normally gets those.

@@mvialz Yeah but Mina is a ballet dancer. For what this group does, I get why Momo normally carries the dance breaks. Mina gets treated as a lead vocal these days a lot and she is the unofficial visual of Twice. Plus since Sixteen, she's always been very reserved and shy, I don't think she wants as much as attention as people think. I think both their talents are used properly.

I think that instead of "Unfair to Fair", it should be labeled as "Uneven to Even Line Distribution". I think for the most part, TWICE's line distribution is fair since Lead and Main Vocalist are on top. (But they really should treat Jeongyeon like Nayeon [Or at very least Mina] and that is the unfair part that I see.)

I feel bad for jeongyeon, sub vocalists Is having more lines than her. Remember that jeongyeon is a lead vocalist not sub I always repeat this 100x. Ever since their debut her lines are very little, she is always mistreated we need justice for jeong🙁. For me, I love Feel special line distribution the most The distribution is very unique when compare to other Twice song And the range from Jeongyeon to Momo is very close Also Jeongyeon actually got third and Jihyo and Nayeon don’t have 5 times the lines when compare to the rest

Jihyo gets more lines because she is the main vocalist and Nayeon gets lines because she's the lead vocalist (along with Jeongyeon but she doesn't get much lines). Center is just supposed to be in the center most of the time and that's it. Fotg is a position given to the member who represents the group and leader is supposed to lead the group, these positions have absolutely nothing to do with their lines.

TFW the most reasonable line distribution based on role (lead vocalist, etc) was in the first two songs that Jeongyeon wrote (lalala and love line). But everywhere else its heavy bias and random.

We should not judge line distribution according to position it about whose voice suites more

The line distributions may not seem fair but we need to remember the groups positions as well. Jeongyeon should definitely get more lines though because of her lead vocalist position.

The tittle tracks of twice are unfair apart from more and more, but twice has really fair distribution of b sides like girl like us..

Well for ooh ahh it makes sense. Jihyo is the leader and had trained for the longest time. It would only make sense for her to get the most lines in her debut song. Nayeon and Jihyo are also like main vocals too. Especially Nayeon, shes the oldest, center and face of the group and also fits every concept. Of course they allnfit the concept but Nayeon fits it like, the best. Also feel bad for Momo if you want, but shes the main dancer? It would make sense for momo focus more on dance than her lines. since shes the main dancer.. stan twice i forgot to mention that jeongyeon is also one of the lead vocals, but shes on hiatus a lot due to anxiety and health problems. So again. It would make sense to not give her a bunch of lines.

It's a shame Nayeon is still receiving the majority of the lyric time. Yes, she has a neutral-to-high pitched voice, which is good for kpop (while Jihyo has a neutral to low/strong/jazzy voice, that gives the extra Oomph and theatrical element). But Jeongyeon should be at the top of the distribution too. As a matter of fact, the neutral parts should be distributed between Nayeon, Sana, Chae and Mina, (while Jihyo/Jeongyeon carry the emphasis portions) and it would highly enrich most songs. Also, give Momo some small rap bursts, too.

hmm let's see what's happening here. Momo: barely gets lines but more on dances. Jeongyeon: a literal lead vocal but always gets less lines than half of the group. Chaeyoung: dude. She isn't a dance line and yet she barely gets lines in most songs. Dahyun: (almost same as Chaeyoung)
