They were rookies back then, but now they are more trained

Things i like are that even when they give few lines to someone they give them important parts, many didn't realize Sua was the one with less lines in Maison because she shined a lot in the MV and talking about that, other thing i like is that they give them also fair time on screen even when a member is not singing🤟

I even think Handong have the least line in Maison

The way their line distribution has became so much fair overtime is absolutely beautiful

Not always. Handong should have been given the piano part in Maison, it would have suited her so much

Fly High era was the very dark time in terms of fairness. But seriously, I'm happy with how their line distributions have improved over the years. Recently, you can hear all seven voices even in the vocally heaviest songs; back in 2017, the maknae line (except for Yoo) was given crumbs. 😔

Sua had least line in maison but she absolutely shines in the song.

Dancebreak was fantastic but she had no standout part in maison so she doesnt shine at all for me songwise which Is the entertainment portion that I mainly consume.

Also SuA had least lines in Maison but she absolutely owned for me

I think Handong didn't get very many lines early on was cuz she was still learning Korean. Which she's really good at now

With a voice like Siyeon's, I'd never shut up.

It´s not about fairness, it´s about the songs needs, so take it like it is.

1:08 Chase Me one actually is probably worse than this shows. It seems like Handong sings 7.6 seconds and she has 2 lines, but she actually has only one line in the studio version, and that line is the "막을 수 있니 막을 수 있니" (mageul su inni mageul su inni) in the prechorus. The line that seems like her "발칙한 장난을 시작할 거야" (balchikhan jangnaneul shijakhal geoya) in the 1st verse is actually Siyeon's in the studio version, but Handong's in live version. You can hear that the part sounded really different from Handong's voice. So Handong actually got just around 2 seconds here and Siyeon probably around 50 seconds.

@@xDeeperThanInsidex i don't really know but i've seen a lot of insomnias talking about this in other videos (mostly chase me line distribution videos). about handong being the center in the dance and mv, other insomnia said that the mv was shot long after they recorded the song, so between the song recording and the mv shooting maybe they did some changes. So as from what i know, before the promotion, siyeon give her first line to handong because she felt bad handong had only around 2 seconds. (i've also checked dreamcatcher - chase me wiki fandom and it also said that the studio version was siyeon) you can also watch the live performance and listen to the japanese version of chase me where handong is actually singing it and it sounded different from the korean mv one

There is also the fact that Handongs singing wasnt as well trained as the others like Gahyeon. Plus she was still learning Korean. So I can sorta understand why she has fewer lines then the rest at the beginning. They have given her more as she has gotten better in both categories. Plus she has gotten more confident over time as well.

she had less lines bc her korean wasn’t the best and she wasn’t that confident. so they let her be center for performances so people would actually see her since it was their debut and she only had like 2 seconds

The way the less liner have the most memorable lines just makes it looks like this line distribution is not unfair at all. And it is like that for a reason😊 and for me, everyone shines in every era💪

in average is handong gahyeon dami who they not got more line in the most mv's but they shining laterly and they got more screen in Dystopia series and because

Gahyeon deserve more likes

Could you do a video ranking the Dreamcatcher solo songs in different categories? I love their solos!

I don't think these are all that uneven if you look at the actual parts each member sang and the importance to the song. Also, not all songs will work if each member is given fair lines. Its hard to imagine whether or not all these amazing TTs would've been negatively affected if the lines were different, everything happens for a reason.

I loved Dreamcatcher older song but hated that handong and Gahyeon had few lines. Id love to see an update version of this video handong and Gahyeon has more lines now and it make me like their new songs even more

Being a Gahyeon Bias was hard in the ealier eras. They actually started okay with Chase Me but ever since Good Night, I just kept getting disappointed :c so happy they improved the line distribution especially with Reason and Maison

SuA having the least likes in Maison but being the member who owns the era most for me is absolutely the queen shit I love to see from my joint bias ❤️

It's crazy because we always rallied behind Handong but Gahyeon was doing even worse lol😅😅
