Worst snowfall ever in London Ontario in 24 hours or 48.

This is London Ontario this is the worst snowfall I have seen, for those of you who don't know where London is. It's about 2h from Toronto we have about 400,000 people who don't know how to drive on a normal day, so you can imagine the chaos on a day like this.. The best part about this is our transit system is still working. So the only people that can get to work are the ones who don't have a job... perfect

I survived The White Death in London, 1978, the drifts were up to the roof so we could actually climb up on top of our garage and jump off. We were without power for several days but had a fireplace so we could all gather there to stay warm. Only problem was the wood was in the garage so we still had to get out to keep it going. Due to the high winds the front door wouldn't open and the drifts were more than 10-feet high. It took a few days but once the high winds stopped we could get out to get the firewood. Winds were over 100km/h for several days.
That was the best snowfall ever. It was so much fun!

Its nice to look at terrible to live in. Some people enjoy it because they like to skate in the park and go sledding. But I prefer the summer.

gary blake I love in London and love the snow. It can be a pain to get simple things done when the snow is happening. But we cope. And it is beautiful to look at.
