Wrong... It translates to worse /worst is nothing
@pelao824
3 жыл бұрын

@Drew, in Poland we have voivodeships which is almost the same as your "states". Each voivodeship has it's own capital, each one has it's own arms and many have other culture. I think that the thing that differs voivodeships and states is that states mostly have their own law when we have only one for the whole country.

Drew's KZread video introduction: "I'm sick with a cold. At least I hope so."
*7:42** It actually takes 3 hours to get to Brittany not 5, you're forgetting all the eastern part of Brittany and its capital Rennes (where I live) and you can pretty much see it takes 3h30 to go from Paris to Rennes (and only 3 hours to the eastern limit of Brittany)* and no it doesn't take traffic into account ^^. Why it takes so long it's because highways in Brittany are not limited to 130kph but 110. But there's also no toll contrary to most of others French highways :P

The state of Germany that has as many people as New York is Nordrhein-Westphalen. It's where pretty much all the heavy industry is located. It has 10 of Germany's 20 largest cities and 20% of Germany's whole population.
Locations of some these places: -Lonely Island: Lake Huron -Disappointment Island: South of and owned by New Zealand -Bucket of Blood St: Holbrook, Arizona
Love your hair in this video
In Melbourne, Australia I live on Easey Street..... I have visited Iron Knob too....
For the map at 6:16, California doesn’t take up all of England. I live in England, but I’m in the Florida section. The river Humber isn’t in Scotland, it’s next to Hull which is in East Yorkshire.

In Orkney and Shetland (Scottish Islands) have places called Twatt. There are also a few in Parliament too but anyways.
Voievodship is like princedom level fragmentation. Somewhere between duchy and kingdom. The most similar equivalent i found is petty kingdom. They are frequent in eastern europe.
Voivodeship is something like a province, or like state in the US (more or less - because Poland is not federation), and those were coats of arms - for the particular voivodeships :)
I'm still waiting for you to revive the ussr campaign, I loved it.
in denmark theres an island called "anholt" witch means arrested in danish!

The reason there is so many abandoned railways in the UK is as trains have been upgraded to high speed the need for multiple lines to the same location goes. (Plus cuts lol)
About "abandoned" railways. It's quite easy - in 19th and 20th century a lot of big factories had some kind of railway really nearby to transport their products. Now we have trucks and highways. And almost no production :) These lines are just useless.
Try and make a map on inkarnate could be a cool video
Hey Drew durnil, could you play Oblivion?
The road leading straight into Failure Canyon is pretty bleak. Might visit someday.
There are some good roads in the UK. One is I think "Lunt Avenue". The road sign has the L completed with a top line to make it a C.
Skidby, england. its a name from the danelaw, and it translates to "Poop Ville"
You should see the Romanian names. We have a village called the Starved Ones.
6:14 that was actually the case. , The Beeching Axe (1958-1965) Was Made to close "Useless" Railways and keep the more Busy Ones. By 1978 , The Usage of British Rail had dropped by 95%.
9:46 Of course 1969 would be the year with the shortest skirt...
In the 1950s, Dr Beeching was tasked with trying to save the government some money by modernising British Railways. Part of his plan was to reduce the number of small lines that didn't earn much revanue. This led to the closure of many branch lines and smaller networks, which remain abandoned or un preserved to this day.
Very many places are called "Hell". We have one of these places near where I live. They used to produce charcoal there. They probably washed themselves off in Black creek after work.

Drew that make sense that you don’t know how much country around the world focus about English, in Thailand you have to study English since kindergartens but our language is Thai so we have to learn 2 super hard languages
In Lübeck in Germany, there is a little street called Fegefeuer, which means "purgatory". It got that name because it's a shortcut from the main street to the bishop's church, were people would run to request sanctuary from the law. If you made it through Purgatory, you make it to Heaven. When I was working in a nursing home for a year, one of the old ladies with dementia said she needs to get on the bus back to purgatory. Fortunately I knew that that's the street where she used to live. Would have really confused the non-local caretakers.
