Another excellent video clip from you Paul. Very reasonable accommodation with a basic breakfast provided. Most importantly it appeared clean and you had everything you needed; not posh but would do for a few nights if you were travelling around. A good summary from you, as always, of just what was what. Hi Paul I'm staying there for a week in September. I wasn't sure about the place, but you have put my mind at rest. That'll do just fine for what I've got planned. Choose it because it's near the station as I will be doing a few trips to Fengorola & Malaga as well as going around Benalmadena. This place will be OK just to get my head down & shower.

Some people are never satisfied if it's on a budget or your low on money.

Lovely video Paul, the Hostel rather good, didn't think much on the breakfast, & thought it was rather expensive for one night,, having said that I would stay there for two nights only, the beds looked more like mortuary slabs, has you said did look rather clinical, all the best Paul .......Dave from Birmingham 😊

No, i really think because of the infrastructure, the situation, i mean from the outside view, its a building stuck in the middle of other building eachside., no pool, the stars is just for the international ratings for the services and accommodations.

Thanks again for the video, probably not for me the hostel for a one night no frills ok, but expensive but july height of the season, i have stayed in benelmadena couple of times but several yrs ago, and liked the costa del sol coast 😊

Arroyo is Benalmadena, its real Benalmadena, Benalmadena Costa is down the hill to the seafront, Arroyo wins every time.Its ina great location there.

What’s the obsession with English TV channels. I don’t see many English hotels with Spanish TV.

Does it have a communal kitchen? Do you know what, it’s perfectly fine, especially for the money, and a balcony!! I have made lifelong friends cooking meals in Scottish Youth Hostel kitchens, people from all over the world. If your travelling alone, it’s a great way to meet other people as well as being cheap.. just discovered your channel, definitely subscribed :) will be watching here in Inverness

The breakfast is cute, according to me. For me, i am not saying any criticism about the establishment.

Crap breakfast there's no excuse it may be a hostel it doesn't mean it should give crap breakfast. At that price it could give good breakfast.

If U think that is a bad breakfast I traveled to L.A. many years ago and the hotel had a big sign saying free breakfast......This involved instant coffee supplied in your room with a box of 12 donuts the owner bought from the next door fuel station. If there is more that 12 guests then you miss out......1 donut per person and that was breakfast.....what a joke.

pate for breakfast yuk eat out but you got a good deal for what it is,

Just back from Fuengirola and was shocked at how the Israeli occupation of Gaza is ignored while Ukraine was high profile. Quite angry as a result. Great appraisal of an area i will avoid. 😊

Hostal does not mean hostel
