‘Worst government in my lifetime’: Bolt slams Labor’s handling of Australia

Sky News host Andrew Bolt says the Albanese Labor government is the “worst government in my lifetime” as he discusses trips overseas with countries facing lower inflation than Australia is facing.
“I already knew this was a fantastic country, you know it too … but it is now being made poorer and more divided by the worst government in my lifetime,” Mr Bolt said.
“It is childish, it is dumb, it is blind.”

I am 83 and I agree, we all know Labor is corrupt one only has to look at its predecessors Whitlam Hawke Rudd Gillard But this one gets the GOLD MEDAL. I live in France on Nuclear electricity( yes I am Australian, I got stuck during Covid) I have had one electric failure in 9 years it lasted for 45 minutes. I was on holiday( having just retired)touring Europe when Covid struck coudn't at that tie afford to come home airfares quarantine etc. Still here and when I watch this government I thank god everyday.

Thank goodness for that America is in a bad enough mess as it is…Come on Donald Trump ….MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN… YOU ARE PURE, undivided and infinite love, peace and bliss, just waiting to be realized as you. This infinite Self, taking the form of a human body, appears to be quite limited, vulnerable and separate from others and the world. This is the process of individualization. It is a good and necessary process. And this human body/mind/ego is the pinnacle of individualization. Think of it as a beautiful rose. Each individual rose looks different from every other rose. And this individualization is very beautiful. It is a miraculous process that begins with one undivided, seamless, gapless whole and out of this appears an infinite variety. And our human minds are the tools that create the ultimate pinnacle in this individualization. We do this through the mind’s creation of separate names and forms.

Oh a return to the good old days of right wing austerity on top of the cost of living crisis. Have a look at the free world. Nearly every nation is up to their eyeballs in debt. They are paying compound interest on that debt. People like yourself need to realise these drowning under the weight of these debts and compound interest. The compound interest has reach a point where it is spiraling out of control. When a country tries to pay a billion off their debt, that billion is absorbed by the compound interest in a matter of days / weeks / months depending on what each nation owes. The financial system is a mess because the smartest people in the room started treating debts as an asset.... and they then went and loaned more money using these debts as collateral... which all works in theory, but does not do so good in practice. Neither the ALP or LNP, or any other Australian political party knows how to halt the debt spiral. All the LNP want to do is make it harder on the bottom strata of Australian society while transferring their assets to prop up the more affluent. Nobody in their right mind should want a return to austerity.. in the previous 9 years, it never remotely looked like solving Australia's financial issues.

My seat in Victoria turned over to the Teals....and what an improvement that's been comparable to the previous Liberal member. I'm so pleased I changed my vote. Latest polls indicate she will improve her margin. So where is Spud going to pick up more than 17 seats? I reckon he's in further trouble down as soon as he started using the Nuke word. By the way, Albo dismantled Morrison's Stage 3 tax cuts. So the wealthy people, Iike me, didn't receive more massive hand outs, instead it's going to people who really need it. Probably YOU!

@@oldgolfer7435 The issue with increasing wages is everybody in business sees it as an excuse to put their prices up... or practice shrinkflation. Look what happened to Australia as a result of the Covid Supplements and the $20,000 hit on superannuation accounts. The businesses jumped on the bandwagon, put their prices up, with all that extra money around. Then, when the money ran out, their prices never went down again. @@rexjames0015 We can’t be for certain if polls are correct as they haven’t always been accurate in the past. Polls tend to go back and forth in numbers and will stray into an odd poll out that isn’t in line with the overall trend. For example in QLD, multiple polls were indicating that the state government would face defeat, then another poll showed both major parties 50/50 and now all of a sudden QLD labor is back on the nose at 44/56. That 50/50 poll was an odd one out and ended up being inaccurate and a distraction. I believe this poll being referred to here on Sky is the same, because since Dutton announced the sensible long awaited nuclear alternative, people are starting to see a real difference between the two major parties (certainly the biggest difference since 2013) as well as waking up to the labor party. This poll came too soon for people to fully give their verdict on nuclear power. When the time comes and as people are more informed about it, I remain optimistic that things will start to shift to the opposition’s favour.
