As an ex model, having a grandmother who was a tailor with a courtier and someone who loves clothes I know clothes and how to dress to look and feel good. You are categorically the best advisor I have come across. You are absolutely right in what you say and the way you deliver it is encouraging, clear and empathic. Now, design your own line. I’ll be your first customer.

    1. Love that you are modeling both of the "do" and "don't" clothes. The comparison on the same body really helps! 2. Recap at the end w/the split screen allowed me to focus on the silhouette differences and understand your points. 3. The supportive comments about "walking in your fabulousness" was wonderful. I worked at a boutique, and now in a department store. Women of every shaoe/size do not take control of their clothes. It's discouraging to watch/hear. But like you, I reaffirm their unique awesomeness (after all, there's only one of them!) and remind them clothes work for us, not the other way around.

YOU are exactly what I needed this week. I gained a good amount of weight, 30 plus pounds, since menopause. Recently I saw an aquainatance and she asked if I was working from home now. I said no Ive never worked from home. She laughed and said I figured with your weight gain you were forced to work from home and sitting too close to the refridgerator now..... I was already pretty unhappy with how I look. This sent me spiraling.

As an anorexic in recovery I found myself going from size 6 (aus size) to a size 16-18 in the last 8 years. Adapting my wardrobe and learning how to dress for my body type has helped me feel a lot better. I caught a glimpse of me in a reflective glass window wearing a body con dress last week and it sent me spiraling into a depression. Thank you so much for your advice and guidance. I pray that we all will be able to beat depression and love ourselves and the people who genuinely love us. We need to recondition ourselves that what society deems as sexy / beautiful isn't real! It's fantasy resulting in the increase of plastic surgery, etc. So many women are literally dying trying to keep up with society's influencer s. We also need to stop judging others and focus more on being healthy- no matter the dress size. Blessings to all you beautiful women!

This is so true. I grew up in the 90s, when moms all had pixie cuts, and wore unflattering boxy mom jeans with running sneakers. (Not like the cuter mom jeans of today.) Because she was a second wave feminist and working motherher, there was zero encouragement for me to be feminine growing up. I had to learn it myself as a teenager and an adult.

Yes yes yes girl these are the BEST tips for us chunkier ladies! I know so many ladies my size that wear clothes that are so wrong for their body shape and call it being "body positive"...there is nothing wrong with body positivity but wearing clothes that are to small or look really bad on a certain shape is not body positive...it's just making poor decisions. Our larger bodies are gorgeous and I believe we should wear clothes that flatter our beautiful bodies.

Oh wow, you are truly great at this. I have watched others try to do a video on something that I am desperate to hear but they just do not have the talent for doing this (me neither). You start out high energy and stick on point (or on message), you never waffle and don't take all day to start getting to the issue at hand. There are more but my sister is a strategic communications expert and I have learned through her that there is a LOT more to this than just getting up and talking. You do a fantastic job. AND the issue is a very important one. Thank you so much!
