I want to share some important information about LG, Daikin, and other AC companies. It's crucial for AC technicians to perform nitrogen pressure testing and properly vacuum the AC system on split AC and HP units. The recommended process involves using a 150 psi nitrogen pressure stand followed by a 500 microns vacuum using a vacuum pump to remove moisture and non-condensable gases from the refrigeration system for a longer AC life. Unfortunately, some technicians skip these steps. Some use compressed air for pressure testing, while others use the same gas or refrigerant in the precharged condensing unit and then perform a self-vacuum, which is not ideal. Additionally, if the copper line set is over 15 ft, it requires a top-up as per the manufacturer's recommendation per foot ounces by weight. However, many technicians do not carry a vacuum pump, nitrogen, or weighing scale for a proper refrigerant charge. Recently, on March 30, 2024, I visited my nephew's house in Ashik Vihar, where two LG technicians replaced the condenser coil and charged Rs7000 for the replacement. They performed a self-vacuum as they did not have a vacuum pump, as it wasn't provided by the company. In another instance, my sister's LG refrigerator experienced cooling issues. The technician diagnosed a refrigerant/gas leak and charged Rs3500 for gas filling, with only a 3-month warranty. After subsequent visits and additional charges, the compressor needed replacement. Despite the warranty, my sister had to pay for the service charges or purchase a 2-year extended warranty. My sister later purchased a new LG hot & cold inverter technology heat pump, but the installer did not perform a pressure test or vacuum due to a lack of nitrogen and a vacuum pump. In conclusion, proper tonnage of the AC/Heat pump, accurate heat/cooling load calculation, and installation as per the manufacturer's instructions and local city code are crucial regardless of the brand. These steps are essential for the longevity and performance of the appliance.

Can you check how much power it is consuming. Some service centers use low quality gas and AC will use more than rated power but do cooling. When I set it on 100% capacity using normal cooling mode and temperature to 16C, it should take rated power at 100% cooling as per BEE Star label. But it takes 1600 watts. I am not setting it to Viraat mode.

Never buy Ac with cooling capacity less than 5000 Watts ( for a 1.5 Ton Ac) If its less than this, Ac will struggle to cool for initial 15-20 mins depending on the heat load on that room. This happens mainly in May- june Months, & if your room has roof above & sidewalls are facing sun during day time- the AC will take more time.

LG 3 star 1.5 ton AC has less capacity. 4600 W in 2023 model and 4400 W in 2024 model. DO NOT BUY THREE STAR 1.5 ton LG AC. Buy 4 star or 5 star 1.5 ton LG AC, those have 5000 W capacity in 2024 models. I bought 2 ton 3 star LG 2024 AC, it has 6300W capacity, and it has very good cooling, specially for my 216 square feet top floor very hot room. Avoid three star 1.5 ton LG AC , rest of LG ACs are very good.

I have an 2017 lg ac...its cooling capacity is 5200 w and was very satisfied with its cooling This year when i went buy 2nd ac for another room i went for daikin aftr looking at the size of its indoor unit.brands are making their indoor unit smaller and with lowert capacity to increase its efficiency. If you want cooling go for daikin or Panasonic,if on budget go for haier ,there are some models which are offering 5000+ cooling capacity

your unit is having either leak issue or PCB issue. LG cooling is superb. Did you done vaccume at the time of installation ? Trust me LG is more good than Daikin I had one which I have given to servive centre for free....from 2019 every year some or other issue in Daikin. yea but its cooling is high then LG. but its good to have less issue product than from which is going in downtime every year.

LG AC is waste of time. Exactly same problems I faced with 5 days old AC and it was 5 star 1.5 ton. I was luck that I pressurized the dealer and pushed him very hard to take it back and they did it and returned me whole amount, than I bought Hitachi I’m which is world class with no problems

Sir i have 5 stat 1.5 ac . Whose colling capacity 5000. And it was virrat mode. Whose cooling is 6000. I purchase lg special model.in 2022. I have paid 49500. Heavy big outdoor unit 40kg. No problem i get proper cooling. Before. Buy lg ac check cooling capacity in 2024 only 5 start ac is 5000. Cooling capacity. you buy 3 stat ac whose cooling capacity very low 4400 it is 1.25ton. ie you did not getting proper colling. True 1.5 ton ac cooling capacity is 5275. I have lg 15 year old still running no problem.

I had the same issue with an LG AC. The problem was LG service center was using fake gas to top up for 3 meter extra copper pipe. The running pressure is supposed to be 150 psi and the running pressure was 210 psi. They were knowingly reporting the wrong psi to the company so their scam is not caught. The AC was not cooling at all and using full power. Over time the excess pressure would have caused gas leakage & compressure failure which is very profitable for service center. We reported the problem to the LG ASM but he closed the complaint to cover up.

@@AbhinavshortVlogs I returned it and ordered a new one. Then kept on escalating with ceo email which is just regular customer care. It took about 3 weeks before someone responded. I different service center installed the AC and this time I did not get any additional copper pipes. But the AC takes 1600 watts and it’s a 5 star AC. It should take 1284 watts. A 5 star AC is actually running like a 3 star AC.

If someone need constant good cooling with nothing health issue keep trust on daikin or Hitachi those are good interns of cooling. Purchase 1.5 t Panasonic 5 star offline Perfect working Installation with vacuum! Room on top direct sun on roof. But room getting child at temprature 26 Happy with Panasonic! Previously i have Hitachi 1.5 inverter 3 star. I used it for 5 years but very bad experience. Every season it had problem. Like pcb.gas.outdoor unit cutt off. Big tension.not proper cooling. Filled gas with vaccum but it never performed well.very bad experience for 5 years with Hitachi. Panasonic ac cooling is super. For safety i have purchased 3 year amc warranty. Naw 1+3=4year tension free 😁

Bhai, woh service engineer ka kuchh fault nehi hai. Actually LG ka cooling capacity Kam hai. Specially 3 star mein to bahut hi kam hai. 3 star AC actually 1.3 ton ka, hai jo 1.5 ton category ka hai. LG Lena hai to 5 star lo, warna kuchh aur brand lo. 120 sqft room size mein yeh AC perfect hai. Mera bhi yeh AC hai, 140 sqft room mein har 1 degree temperature decrease hone mein 5 minute lag jata hai. Jisko 22-24 degree temperature chahiye woh Panasonic lo.

I don't think so. Bcoz mera 3 bed rooms ka flat me ek 1.5 ton n do 1ton duel inverter Ac hai,Last 7 years se still date all AC's are working very well.May be particular o AC me manufacturing defects hai.

Problem to ye hai bhai ki itni bdi Company per hm log trust karte aur apna Itna Paisa Invest karte hai but uske bde bhi sukoon nhi & company solution bhi nhi provide krti

Bhai genral ka ac le lo use best koi nhi h jisko cooling acha cahiye GENRAL se best ac koi nhi but thoda cost aap ko jyda pay krna hoga

Mene kaha ki bhai rehne do blue star 10 saal se chala raha hoon 20 % cooling kam hui par abhi v mast he aur inka naya he par bekar he ... Service ke chakkar me kharid liya ab har garmi me gharwalon se sunna v padta he

Cooling Issue bro?

chuna laga diya bhai aapko. Main bhi Daikin ac use karta hu bohot saalo se, & ek naya wala LG bhi lagwaya 1month back, 1.5tom 3star 2024 model with diet mode, cooling mast hain like Daikin. Seems like aapke model mein hi issue tha or Faulty piece tha

Lg cooling is not good bro 15din hua ha new split AC liya tha bilkul acha se colling nhi kr rha 5 star rating ha or water lekije ho rha 15 din mein hi bhut normal colling ha lg ki puri paise waste ho. Gya Bhai 47000 ka liya tha na colling na kuch money waste ha Very bad experience 😢 from lg

Bhai lg ka kuch bhi agar chala to sehi he agar jaldi kharab ho gya to kahbi sehi nehi hota or service bhi bohut kharap he manufacturing defects ko o log andekha karte he or mera lg ka fridge tha but o 1 year me 5 bar aya lg ka service karne bala but sehi nehi kar paya to mera fridge mistri bola sab parts ko nikalo then sab new dalo to chala but logo lg ka baki sabi dusra company ka ha...

Cooling capacity 4400W, Maximum cooling capacity 5160W.

Nicely explained with faults and why you should think before you buy an ac... Even if you are using a japanese ac the service is also very important... Next time go for Japanese brands.... 👍

Bhai ekdm bahar lga tha outdoor to Direct Outdoor per Sunlight ka issue tha ab Ander hai to bhi same issue h

Mera bhi sama problm hai and uske saath after 7hr , cooling bhi bandh ho jati hain. Don't no keya karu. Lg service walo ne bola sob khch thik hain but problm solve nehi ho rahi hain. Consumer forum men complain karu keya?

Bhai, chuna sales boy ne aap ko lagaya. Woh right capacity AC aap ke room ke liye suggest hi nehi kiya. LG ka 1.5 ton 3 star AC 120 Sqft tak hi thik hai. Ish se bada room ke liye 1.5 ton 5 star chahiye. Cooling capacity watt mein dekhiye, ton mein nehi. LG 3 star 4400w, 5 Star ek 4600w aur ek 5000w ki milta hai. 5000w ki cooling wala LG ka AC badiya thanda dete hai.

LG ka 1.5 ton 3 Star ka cooling capacity 4400W hai pichhle do saal se. 1.5 ton ka hi 5 star ka do tarah ki capacity wala AC hai LG ka. Ek 4600W aur ek 5000W. So pehle Jo ac tha aap ka woh jyada cooling capacity tha. Ho sakte hai 5250 W ka tha. Difference ish liye ho raha hai.

@@AbhinavshortVlogs Bhai Maine to.kanhi model number tumhe bolte hua nehi paya, lekin dekh le laga ki yeh RS-Q17MNXE model hai. Ish model mein cooling capacity sirf 4400W hai. Sach mein yeh 1.25 ton hai, kyun true 1.5 ton AC ka cooling capacity hota 5250W. Lekin ish model mein expandable cooling mode hai jo ish AC ki cooling capacity 117% tak increase Kiya ja sakte hai. Matlab yeh Viraat mode mein 5150W mein cooling karega. Aap full Viraat mode mein hi AC ko operate kijiye jab tak aap ki desire temperature achieve na ho jaye. Desire temperature achieve hone ke baad hi AC ko 100% capacity pe set kare. Ish mein ho sakte hai aap ko 30 minutes ya 1 hour time laga sakta hai. Virat mode pe cooling ho jayega room, waqt lagega, bizli bhi true 1.5 ton AC ki tarah khayega. Yeh LG Wale bizli bill kam dikhane ke chakkar mein ish ki capacity hi kam kar diya. Jab tak achcha cooling nehi hota tab tak saath mein halka speed se fan bhi chala lijiye jarurat padne par. Chahe to u limited time Tak viraat mode pe AC ko chala sakte ho.

Now days same price range daiken ka cooling bhi bohit bakar ha. Aur afater sales service to aur bhi bakar

I'm using Panasonic AC 4 star 1.5 ton . The cooling is so amazing i have to reduce the fan speed to minimum in just 2-3 minutes. Extremely good. Belive it or not,It super chills the room in near about 5 minutes!

Quality worst nehi Bhai, galat AC selection hai asli galti. Tum jo AC kharida woh 120 sqft room ke liye thikthak hai, kyun ke woh AC actually 1.3 ton ka hai. Cooling capacity watt mein dekhna chahiye, na ki ton mein. Company bhi cooling capacity watt mein hi likhta hai. Sales person jaise taise karke sale karna chahate hai.
