I actually spoke with the ref from the Lebron 3pt call, Tony Brothers. He didn’t make the call, that came from the reply officials who watched the video. His toe slid forward when he jumped. It was the right call.

I think it was the right move for the refs to overturn the foul on steph. The ball was already in the air before contact was made, and its a minor one at that

The reason why this call was overturned was because there was a tip and the rotation changed. Hitting of the hand after the release is still a foul during a natural follow through.

LeBron should’ve gotten a technical that night. Literally anybody else would’ve gotten a T. Such a crybaby, always has been. Luka too, dude cries after every single play that involves him touching the ball. However, I think they should start fining refs for blatant bad calls or no calls.

LeBron had travelled before his 3 point attempt. The 2 points shouldn’t have counted. However, every close in picture of his foot is before he released the ball. When the ball left his hands he was further extended onto the toe of his shoe and there wasn’t any space between his toe and line. There was no way any review could overturn the original.

I love how everybody was thinking about Tatum foul on Lebron but he showed another clip, but yeah referees are helping Lakers for sure.

these refs are weird

The LeBron 3 was indeed a 2. What LeBron is pointing at, that moment is his foot in the upwards motion, which clearly has space between his shoe and the line... but if you watch the whole clip, slowly, you will notice his shoe touching ever so slightly [1-2mm] the line when he is almost leaving the floor... all due to the design of his shoes... It was a 2, and the refs got that one right...

What i saw on steph shot was jimmy touching his hand which in the refs mind is part of the ball so thats why they overturn the call
