I dont really understand how someone can not like souls games but like elden ring. Elden ring is a souls game, its basically Dark souls 4 but they just didnt call it that. Same controls mostly, just different lore. If you get good at elden ring, and go back and play dark souls 3 I bet you will think dark souls 3 is actually easier then Elden ring, because honestly a lot dark souls 3 is easier then Elden ring.

@awhellnah__the incantations and spells in this game are so cool but take so much effort to make them work. “Oh ancient dragon lightning shreds” if you use three attack tailsments and one for faster casting, 10 buffs, 80 faith, two plus 25 seals, a helmet for increased damage, a physic flask like at that point just use literally any weapon

hey thats pretty much the build i beat my first playthrough with. it was a damn slog but i loved it. lost my pants when i found the scarlet rot dagger because crafting the arrows to apply it was awful. reduvia is better in main hand due to the range and damage for its weapon art. also check out the thumbprint greatshield. fully upgraded with the greatshield talisman gives you 100% guard boost for no stamina loss when blocking

That's my next build actually. Tack on +2 Pearldrake to lessen elemental chip, and you're basically unkillable. Debating on having a friend drop me a second fingerprint shield, or running ruins greatsword. I know I'll be fatrolling, but you shouldn't even be rolling if you're using that shield.

Yeah, strength weapons need to have less recovery frames on their attacks. They'll still be slow, but at least you're not stuck in place for 8 years after your swing has ended.

starscourge greatswords were my weapon of choice for the whole game and i absolutely loved them

That character is absouletely horrific

I never even seen gargoyles get staggered I never spend enough time fighting them to see

As a dual shield user, it's very viable, granted some fights are lessons in patience as the attack range plus skinny pete legs on some bosses makes you miss a lot, just unlock and aim it, have the crit dagger for when you stun one and it's very tricky to die. Malekith and mel-chan might cause you some rage with the whole I replace your shield and give you aids thing they have going on.

That hat is really fitting on you Charlie, if I’m going to be honest.

One complaint I have is too many attacks that leave lingering area of denial. Half the area becomes places you can't stand and you have to go around just to get back in the fight.

Full armor is really just for the poise, not the dmg reduction. Poise will make it harder for attacks to stagger and knock you down

You should try the Deus Doot build using the Envoys Horn, Envoys Long Horn, and/or Envoys Great Horn. You're essentially blowing Holy bubbles from a freaking trumpet that's used to bonk people.

My 2 builds that I switch between are Moonveil and Uchigatana combo as well as Longsword and Shield combo. Sometimes I also use Moonveil with Shield. What I want to say is Moonveil is a sick weapon.

For a unga booga strength build I highly recommend the ruin great sword at +10 it gets and S scaling in strength and you get it from the crucible and misbegotten fight in calid

That is if you want to spend 5 hours trying to beat them. But it's worth it.

I made a Spellbrute build for my character. I started off putting a bunch of points into Endurance and Strength (currently 30 and 33 respectively), and then later put them towards Mind and Intelligence. I can one-hand the Greatsword and use the Demi-Human Queen’s Staff, but I also have some other weapons in my back pocket that I can use if I want some more variety.

I beat the snek boss by just hanging out in the lava and healing through it, he doesn't have a lot of attacks that target there so it's just potion management.

I usually watch Charlie's videos whilst upon the porcelain throne, and immediately upon starting the video I received Poseidon's Kiss. Truly a moist and terrible build.

5:58 Enemies stagger meter goes down over time, so in order to stagger big enemies and bosses, you'll need to be consistently hitting them. Or at least more frequently.

I just wanna know when Charlie is gonna start the newest WWE2K game. Those are by far my favorite wacky ass streams/videos.

Gone thru majority of this game with Bloodhound Fang and a few days ago I got Radahns armor. So now im lvl 116, 69 Dexterity and +9 Bloodhound Fang, challenging but been real fun playing this game 😁

I currently am dual wielding the bloody greatsword thing that heals you on kills charlie used in this video and black gargoyles greatsword. Once I buff both hav around 900-950 ar. I do so much damage and poise damage it's delicious

I think it’s funny how every time I’m watching Charles or Vinny play Elden ring I keep getting Elden ring commercials. I’m like, “Dude stop! They’re advertising this way better than your commercial right now.

Not true, radahns armour is badass and has like the highest resistances. Only bad thing is that its extremely heavy

The club did fine damage. 36 Str is just barely over the requirements of the club. And +5 is like nothing. At this state of the game you should have something like +17 to +20 That's the problem of playing crab like the sword of night flame, you get used to unhealthy numbers of damage
