Nah, he's just insecure and not ready for a relationship. I'm not so sure. I mean maybe that woman isn't ready or willing to date him as he is now, but another woman might be, and I think it's totally possible a woman could explain what is wrong with his thinking in a way he'd understand and acknowledge and learn from. I mean maybe he's irredeemable, but I imagine there is a way of reasoning with him. Maybe even just showing him this video from Penguin would give him enough embarrassment and self-awareness to realise his issues and take the first steps to resolving them, with the help of his girlfriend if she thinks he's worth that minimal effort.
