I posted a textual post on Facebook outlining some the same issues and saying what a bad week last week was for America despite the peachy coverage on legacy news.
The only way Congress will "see Jesus" is if we vote out all incumbents. Don't pick and choose. Every one . Even those you like. It's the only workable strategy right now. While the media and the tenured horrors like Nancy will decry the loss of continuities and efficiencies, the solutions are breathtaking. For one, the next time there's a vote on breaking the debt ceiling, no one will be on the wrong side of that vote. It would *fix* that, for starters.

Two things: 1. That's a completely separate issue and if you think being anti Ukraine has any bearing on your tax dollars then you are a buffoon and 2. Your anecdotes are not evidence of anything other than that you hang out with out of touch people

Claiming we're past peak woke is so idiotic. What makes you think that? Could you criticize feminism and keep your job in academia, the movie industry, music industry, on TV... anywhere? Like what evidence do people see for this claim that gets idiotically trodded out every few months.
Ukraine IS Russia. It never declared its borders to the UN. I have no problem with Russia taking over Ukraine. Not our problem. Never understood why we are so involved in Israel. We need to take care of the USA. Once we clean up our borders and the homeless, then "maybe" be can help other countries.
