I had one put in my D18. I’m gonna be playing it in the worship band at my church. When I hear it in my ear in monitors, it sounds to me, the way it should sound playing it unplugged in my living room.

Great video, thanks for sharing your experience. I am thinking of putting this in my Taylor GS-mini. Glad that it helped to correct the issues you were having, especially for such an expensive guitar. It seems to me the sound on the HIFI runs a little on the boomy side. Hard to know as the sound on KZread isn't the best. Thanks.

@@commandertim575 normally I use PB strings. I have been using only BlackSmith out of SKorea for over a decade now. I am working on making them more available here in the USA

This sounds great! Have been considering putting one of these in my SJ200 for a while. Have been using a Sunrise forever but am kind of weary of the magnetic tone and would really love something that is more plug and play. I find myself reaching for my Takamines more and more, mainly for the ease of grabbing a great tone by just plugging ‘em in. Sounds like the HiFi might be the ticket for my Gibson!

The fact that there is absolitly no larsen is for me (for my use) a big important point ! I thought first that it was the lyric system but it sounds different. The sound seems to be quite pleasant.

Hey @jonathanbarnett7309 thank you! I tried to keep the signal as straightforward and unchanged as possible. Straight through Shure GLXD+ wireless into my Allen&Heath DLive with very little EQ. That signal passes via Dante into an Allen&Heath Avantis with no effects and very little EQ. That feeds with the video into my Resi Encoder. Hope that helps
