Cant beat a NASA grade (c.o.c) bearings.

Hello I’m interested in getting more information on ceramic bearings I currently race FTR in Florida also pro am motocross also I currently have all my engine’s cryo heat treatments and micro polish from bottom to top I was able to get 2 hp more out of them by having this done with stock OEM bearings but would like to know if using ceramic bearings in the transmission and crank shaft cases would the ceramic bearings make more hp

Great example of what I pounded into dust. We only use World Wide Bearings (since the mid 1990's) and we have never seen one break.

I expected them to be as brittle as glass.

Brock, can ceramic bearings withstand the abuse of my stunt bike? Coming down hard on wheelies, etc.

Ok the bearings you speak of may be superior but remember that the balls that break faster may be harder and that might mean they could last longer if the precision is the same but they might damage with less impact, it's a trade off

Or, run harder balls that don't break...that's what we do 😉

can you still do cold/hot installs with ceramic?

You can, but care must be taken not to damage the seals or nylon bearing cages. A chill in the freezer is fine - avoid liquid nitrogen etc.

Is the inner and outer race made out of ceramic?

@blipco5 - no, the inner and outer races forged from Japanese 52100 chrome bearing steel. Technically, the WWB's are a hybrid bearing. More info: blog.brocksperformance.com/why-choose-worldwide-bearings/
