What a 1983-1995 Worldvision theme (where the synth whoosh, Yamaha DX7 internal patch "Brasshorns", Roland Jupiter-8 patch "Strings", Roland JX-3P patches "Strings 1" and "Strings 2", Yamaha DX7 internal patch "Take Off" and another synth whoosh were heard)

Worldvision Home Video Inc. Logo (1983-1995)/Worldvision Enterprises Inc. Logo (1988-1999) (1989-1994 Version) (1989-1991 Version) (Short Version)

Starts out as the Home Video logo, then shifts to the TV logo. That is unusual indeed ...

OK, heard the whole thing and: the whole jingle plays intact despite the edits in the video sequence. You would think that the jingle would cut to just the last few notes.

The actual 1989-91 version was similar to the 1991-94 version (same Spelling byline, but sans Blockbuster byline as used in the 1994-95 version) but without the trademark symbol to the right of the Worldvision "W" globe logo.

I guess they just wanted to be cheap and didn't want to make a new home video logo with the Spelling byline.

Oh, yes it was! The name of the song is called "Moog Statement 14," originally composed in 1979 by Andy Clarke.
