I thought the same thing, it's so easy for her, whereas I get acne, I have dark under eyes, my eyebrows are so light it literally looks like I don't have any, my face is different shades of color(weird right), my face is not symmetrical, I have a case of Tyler Posey jaw😂

a lot of people with bad skin have it because they eat shit food and don't drink enough water. It's pretty easy to talk about being lucky but i guarantee you nina eats healthy and stays hydrated. Not to mention that she clearly stays active and sporty. There's hard work and dedication gone into taking care of herself from the inside out. You honestly think she'd look like that if she sat down all day scratching her ass and eating crap food?

Its really pretty, that she stands for no-makeup comunity but girl.. If I had her face, features and most importantly her pure skin, I will never ever use makeup. Its not about "oh, I wanna wear makeup, its so much fun", Its about "i cant go outside without makeup, because my skin isnt perfect and my confidence is very low because of that". It sucks...

Thank you, you too! but actually... it is just a photo. I have sometimes horrible skin, dark circles and lot of imperfections. And thats why I talk about this "nomakeup trend". I just cant go outside without it, because If I do, my skin will be in horrible condition next day. Some people just dont have healthy skin like Nina.

she DOES have make-up on. The video is a scam, sadly. If you look closely, you can see she has foundation and full eyeshadow in the supposedly "no makeup"-sequence. I agree though that natural, less make-up looks a 100 times better than the thick "glam" make-up. For my life I don't understand why people would ever paint themselves like clowns and look worse for it.

I am one of those lucky people, I have on bad nights under eye circles but other then a pimple once in a few months a clear skin so I never wear foundation or concealer, just some lipstick and mascara and I am good to go

"no make up" in our world means plucked and dyed eyebrows, dyed or even false eyelashes and that already makes such a huge difference and shouldn't be called natural... i mean, i don't complain, but we should just stay real ;)

I love going make up free because I feel comfortable in my own skin. Makeup is great, but at the end of the day, you are who you are. I think Nina Dobrev is just an awesome person! I love her outlook on life! I too think the biggest plus is using natural-based products. They last longer and a little goes a long way.

Quite contrary though! Natural makeup (without parabens) usually don't last longer at all! It gos bad very quickly if you don't store it in a refrigerator. I'm not the biggest fan of natural products, at least not 100% natural products or home made products. I do love home made hair and face masks, scrubs and body oils, but not actual makeup and skincare, because it's just not as effective IMO. But I do respect your opinion.

Am I only one who just washes their face and leaves?

Sure-that's great and all. I'm all for women empowerment, but this advertises one KIND of beauty. All of these women have flawless skin tones, full eyebrows, etc. Some women on a day-to-day basis do not look like this and feel pressured to put on makeup for the WRONG reasons. Magazines and media are only representing a minute portion of a greater population and this needs to change. It is an inspiration that the media is celebrating diversity in skin tones and body types, but let's not forget to celebrate dark circles, blemishes, and pimples too.

Celebrate pimples... I'm all for saying there are all different kinds of good looking but come on! Nobody is ever gonna think pimples are beautiful. I mean maybe there's some kind of freak out there who is into them but he/she is probably one in 500 million! Thats almost as bad as the people who try to beautify obesity.

Yes, showing someone with flawless skin and knowing they are physically attractive. It is easier for them to feel confident. For me inspirational are people who do not look the way social media is promoting, they know what the real beauty is.

Oto Kage no even the makeup artist on the set of tvd said that nina has such great lashes that she doesn't have to use falsies. Ofc on the show and red carpet events she's wearing mascara but she tends to not wear makeup in her instagram posts.

You are still yourself if you put on make-up. Some people need a little touch here and there to magnify their natural beauty. Nothing wrong with that ladies.

I’ve always gone makeup free, but it’s hard to feel as confident when you are not blessed with the features these women have. I have always had eyebags(they’re hereditary) and they show up in pictures, makes me look tired in person. People would always be so rude and comment on it. I have tried changing my diet and drinking TONS of water. I have noticed a different and a little eyeliner/mascara helps to bring out my eyes making them look less tired. If you have constnt breakouts, changes in diet can help too. Used to get quite a few pimples that have stopped since I cut out greasy chips, soda, and other greasy things like fries and burgers. Make sure water is the first thing you drink in the morning.

I don't really know why they say "no makeup". I'm not a hater, but you should not say you are makeup free, when you have made some permanent makeup on, like micro bladed eyebrows or permanent eye liner or even lash extensions. I doesn't mater if you haven't put makeup on like today - today, but don't lie that you are all natural, not fair for all of those who thinks that this is natural look that's what makes girls feel bad about themselves.

Nina is beautiful. But to the photos: instead of no make up, lets use a lot of light, photoshop and filters.

She is already beautiful without make up and have pure skin,it does not break out. Great skin, no dark circle and not dark lips and great features, when combine, u really x need make up. Me, well, pale, to the point of people thought i am sick all the time. Hence, powder, mascara for upper lashes only and lip balm is the only way so far not to look like dead zombie.
