I’ve found that in a lot of cases I’ll use runic attacks defensively to interrupt attacks I don’t feel like defending. With no runics i gotta have perfect defense. I think that’s what makes it more intense.

@@RAGE-OF-SPARTA-X The problem with quick dodge it’s a split second I frame. So if you fail to see through the boss sneaky delayed red attacks, you mistime the dodge and die.

@@GMGoW I don’t know if it works with the quick charge but for me. All i do is tap triangle during the dodge animation and when the dodge animation is over it immediately goes back to the full charge.

At 6:15, that was Father and Son best tag team moment.

My second favorite boss fight after Heimdall. The spark of the world is an amazing setting and the spectacle of that father/son combo finish is just incredible. Whatever they do in future God of War games, I hope they don't split up Kratos and Atreus. Their chemistry is too iconic now for Kratos to go back to being a solo act.

My man, always the world’s first when it comes to challenges. But I have a question, how come their health bar was green at the start? That’s impossible, doesn’t that make them level 0 if that even exists?

Not sure why but no matter what your level is they always start out 1 level below you, even if that means they’re level 0 lol.

idk if you know this but when they both go in the air to throw the big rock at you, you can actually throw your axe or spear at the rock and it'll explode on them and do damage

You don’t have to pick up the first runic attack in this game. You can walk past it.

2:40 if you saved atreus there he would do a counterattack that does a ton of damage.

The first phase is scripted for them to be one level below you no matter what level you are.

They’re pretty tough, it’s especially hard when you’re using all the advanced runic/animation cancels like he does.

Wait, these 2 can be level zero? That's a green health bar and you're level one.
