Balls out on 6s. Maybe good 4s with different size tire and pinion. Tire 5mm larger than stock.. Hmmm

@@admin5322 I’ve done multiple passes with mine... no issues. I’d say I’ve put about 6 or 7 packs through it, all at 75mph+ and back to back passes. It’s all about your throttle control 😅

Surpass 7700kv £10 on Ali express, rated at 2s but my one seems to be handling 3s pretty well. That's over 80k rpm!🤪

Getting 60-70mph on the cheap is easily doable. A 100mph on the cheap.....haha, maybe not so cheap. Amazing how much goes wrong with trying to get these high mph's, so very grateful to get watch you guys go after the improbable, and achieve! Well, not this time, but its coming, lol!

I wish drone were more like RC cars... You can really push the limits on RC car escs. If u put anything even a volt over on a drone it's game over. Good luck getting to 100mph with project dirt cheap, it will look hilarious seeing that tiny thing roaring across the floor!

It’s the motor kev, it’s only a 4s motor I had the same problem with mine when the motor reaches max rpm it stutters and just slowers and smokes

Try the Racerstar 120A esc from banggood. It's relatively cheap and I run it in my slash 4x4 with no issues. It can run up to 6s.

Tried this in my wltoys, it can't sustain peak amps for long enough to top out

If shipping wasn't more than the torch itself I would buy you a small one to avoid having to see heat shrink tube shrunk with a bic lighter Kev. 😆 Great video bud. Keep em comin.

i've done 68 mph on 2S in my 124019. Running a cheap 6.5t ruddog motor and a Quicrun 120a ESC. Converted to 32p gearing with a UDR 34t pinion as a spur and a 22t traxxas pinion. You dont need anymore than 3S to do 100+ in these cars, just need a fast motor. I'm pretty confident 100mph is possible on 2S with a ~3.5t drag motor.

lol everyone is rightly impressed and happy for Kev reaching 1 Million Subs, but very few people have noticed that ON TOP OF the Million Subs, he's also gained another 20 THOUSAND + Subs since reaching the Million mark a few weeks ago!!?? Most new KZreadrs would be really chuffed reaching 20k Subs!!?? Never mind 1 Million and 20'000 + Subs!!?? lol. Wes, Liverpool, UK.

150a version of the surpass you had there will handle 6s but unreliably. A max8 with motor can be had for £135 so if you only take the esc I'd say that's only £70 which is great value for money and will run 6s easy!

The surpass hobby 75$ Canadian 150 amp. Best paired with 2000-2500 kv motors. Pushes my 15 tooth pinion outcast to 50-55mph. The Arrma blx esc gets 55-60 mph for 170$canadian. I would buy the combo with the motor so no BS

Ditch the lighter and use the shaft of the soldering iron to shrink the heatshrinks, they dont burn so easily

Up for a challenge Kevin? Try to break 100mph+ on loose dirt with an offroad vehicle of your choice. The run has to be done in loose dirt & a clean run & anything else goes. No one "ever" has done it yet on KZread or posted video online to prove it.
