Whilst filming in Anchorage last year, I was able to spend some time down at the worlds busiest seaplane base: lake hood. The scenery combined with the continuous flow of aircraft movements made it a fantastic place for an aviation photographer to setup camp for the afternoon. Featured here is some of the best action captured within an hour of filming, condensed into 10 minutes. Without further ado, i hope you enjoy!

Lake Hood and Anchorage International the best aviation photography location in the world..thats why we have been there 7 times...

Was the cessna floatplanes the Cessna 206 stationair or the 182 because the 182 doesn’t sound like that

Paul, a lady bush pilot I worked for in Alaska got her DeHavilland beaver custom built, refurbished by kenmore air, flown in it many times, look up island wings air Alaska website, one of the cleanest beavers on floats around, plus she is one of the best bush pilots around, check it out!
