Love this stuff. I make it a little bit different ((horseradish root, turmeric AND peppercorns (must have pepper to make turmeric more bioavailable to the body), onion, garlic, ginger, jalapeños, habañero, red chili pepper, orange, ACV)). Once it has fermented for 4-6 weeks, I strain out everything and bottle the tonic. The pulp gets run thru my masticating juicer two to three times to get any remaining juices which are added to the bottled tonic. (I will get sediment in my tonic jars. I just save it in the jars and then dehydrate that when i have enough.) The pulp is then dehydrated, ground to a powder, then loaded into capsules with a capsule maker. Absolutely nothing of mine is wasted. The capsules can be taken any time just like the tonic. They are more convenient for traveling. I vacuum seal the tonic jars and put in my pantry. It keeps perfectly. I find honey is a personal preference. I put honey in a few jars. Wish I had only done one jar bc I don’t like the honey in my fire cider... The powder can also be used as a spice too. This stuff has been instrumental in clearing up whatever it is that I caught-whether it was the “Rona” or not, idk, but this stuff (along with my oregano essential oil) has kicked it! I’m definitely continuing taking the tonic while we are in this season. I just pop a few shots a day. Good shi*. Bet it would be good in hot water as a hot tea with honey and lemon-especially if you’re trying to sweat out a fever and other bugs... Sweet video! You guys are so cute. 💗🤗

This week I made my first 4 jars of fire cider and 3 jars of apple cider vinegar. I take acv w/mother every day and tbsp of local honey for spring and fall allergies. Haven't missed OTC allergy drugs all year. Feels so good and freeing to use the foods herbs and spices which God gave us for natural medicinal purposes! That's one reason God created them. Pushing for healthy foods and holistic ways to stay healthy. My hubby is on board which helps.😊

I have an autoimmune disorder and went to all these home remedies. I use to get sick all the time and now hardly ever. We had a few people at my job get COVID this month... now I’m not saying they keep the COVID away but I’m still coming to work after testing negative. Two who have it sit right next to me. I will always believe in home remedies. Please if you have time I would love to see some new and old ones. I’m still learning and getting more people at work interested. Health by food, not by meds!

I dont know about the immune boosting aspects of this, but the anti inflammatory part... Holy cow. I take it every day. I notice with in 1 day if I missed a dose. I start feeling like crap. Achy, tired, just run down. I sleep better, not only getting into REM, but I sleep 8 hours almost to the minute. Wake up feeling ready to take on the world. My only piece of advice... don't...DO NOT... drink it on an empty stomach. My daughter and I learned the hard way. I combined Jens recipe with another.... and wow! Amazing stuff. Getting ready to do 2 gallons. One for my daughter and one for me. Then i will be making it every month. Plus elderberry syrup, and a few other things. Bottoms up!
