    @@SearchingThingsOfficial I thank you for your concern, how ever it is my understanding that worldedit is both a mod and a plugin. A mod for single player worlds and a plugin for when you want to install it into servers. Thats my understanding of what worldedit is. Further information cos I wanted to be sure, source google: WorldEdit was made with as much compatibility in mind, and thus it comes in two forms: as a plugin, for servers that can load them, and as a mod, either for servers that use mods and can't use plugins, or for use in single-player. With that being said I hope you have a wonderful day or night, have a good one man o/

  • @playingbw

    @playingbw

    7 күн бұрын

    Yeah. Ofc its better. Worldpainter is on top for large scaled maps with custom terrain? I agree with you there, but why would you use litematica for terraforming? I personally would use litematica for 2 things, survival builds, and for downloading builds which ive done once. Ive also never seen someone use litematica in that context through out all my building buddies. They ether worldedit clipboard to paste things in or axiom. But I havent seen much if any use of litematica, especially when you build everything yourself. Did I misunderstand your application of litematica? Or? Yeah anyways I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day or night. o/

  • @biuliu7157

    @biuliu7157

    7 күн бұрын

    @@playingbw Yeah exactly I'm using it for survival builds. I am currently playing superflat so I need to build terrain for it, thus terraforming. Furthermore, I don't want to completely paste builds in, especially in survival, if that's what you meant by paste (or the same mechanics of litematica?)

  • @playingbw

    @playingbw

    7 күн бұрын

    The tutorial was made for creative building and not survival. And yeah defenately dont paste anything in in survival that kinda beats the purpose of playing survival. What I meant was for when you build in creative its easier to worldedits clipboard to paste things in than use litematica.

    Hello! I have 3 ways you could do this. The first was is with this command "//replace #surface grass_block" That basically just replaces the surface blocks of a selected region to what you set it to. The second way is with the paint brush "//br paint sphere 6 100 set grass_block" type that whilst holding a tool and then right click to use the brush. It replaces the surface blocks you point at. And the first way is with "//replace "air !>air" grass_block" This one is a little different. This one replaces the air blocks that are right above the surface of your selected region with the block of choice. I hope I was able to help :3 Have a wonderful rest of your day or night o//

    What’s a command to extend smth? For example I have a wall and it’s not reaching the ground

  • @playingbw

    @playingbw

    9 ай бұрын

    I would //copy it, then move to the right position and paste it. Thats how I extend stuff. If you dont want the air blocks to replace anything do //paste -a There is another way to do this but its a little complicated so I just use this. But the more complex command would look like this: //deform x/=1;y/=1;z/=1 What this does is increases the size of blocks along a defined axis. The command I have given will do nothing, but if you change the 1s to 2s then the blocks will double in size. If you just want the blocks to exend one way you can just modify that aches and keep the rest at 1. Going below 1 is also possible to decrease the size of something. But yeah as said I just use //copy and //paste -a Its a lot easier even for me. Anyways hope this was of some help. Have a good one

I just did some research to see if I could find stuff, but I could only find SUI, CUI and one gui mod but that doesnt cover what you ask. It was like an extension of world edit to make spawn protection stuff and it used a little inventory type ui thing. There is another mod that strays away from worldedit but is GUI based and quite strong. It is really capable of making some stuff that used to be really impressive before mods. That mod is called axiom. I personally have never used the mod so I wont be able to assist you all to much in using it, but it truely is a very powerful building tool. I just enjoy building by hand and using worldedit. However I will move to axiom to help speed up a project I got on atm. Yeah. Yeah no that’s unlucky and annoying. The way id make mountains by hand is by shaping a huge dirt block with a shovel and replacing the outer dirt layer with the blocks I want when I like the shape. Know you werent asking but trust me it helps. Hope you have a fabulous rest of your day or night
