You cannot imagine how nice is to hear this. I lost my father the year before Tarja lost her mother. I was a little girl back then, but now I'm in the process of finding myself again and letting my true nature shine, and I decided to honor him in myself, and his traits I wasn't able to get validation and mirror through all these years, which could make me feel whole. I started therapy with a professional who is finally hearing me, not to mention how she's working with the kind of people I am, and not just gets them, but works to help them, too. I'm finally ready to acknowledge my grief and trauma and to let go. 11/12/2020 will be the day I'm finally going to meet my idol and participate in the heartwarming live stream, too. This year, despite everything, brought so much beauty I craved all my life.

I love how you open your heart with us trough music and in your interviews, it is so special to see how you care to conect, that is why we say that Tarja é a mais simpática ❤️ 😂

I have never thought I would enjoy a Christmas album. They are usually dated and soulless, which is pretty interesting given the feeling they are trying to portray. I remember many folks not understanding your choice for a dark, melancholic and even eerie Christmas album but you explain it very well here, not everyone enjoys Christmas, specially, when it is more and more about material possession and showing off for Instagram than being with your family and treasuring life. Specially when people very close to you have passed on. "You would have loved this", still makes me cry to this day. Anyway, FSAG is a very well crafted cd and I can tell you that I listen to that album way before the season starts and that eerie atmosphere truly brings out this longing and sad feeling you've talked about here, however, at the same time it comforts me as well because your voice just cascades over the music and it shows us it not necessarily true that we are all happy and jolly this time of the year, it is ok to be sad and ok to not have a bunch of people to entertain... I blab too much but all in all, I am beyond excited to have a chance to listen to you live singing these songs very soon and that will be the perfect Christmas gift to myself. Cheers dear Tarja.

i wouldn't say i'm a lonely soul, but since my father passed away, christmas has never been the same, even though i love it dearly and always try so hard to get into the christmas spirit, it eludes me. i am grateful for this album and i understand the sentiment behind it. to me, it's one of the best things tarja has ever done. kinda hoping maybe one day she'll make a vol. 2
