We're here again... A little more than 30 years before... World Weightlifting Championship in Ostrava (ČSSR) in 1987.09.13. sunday (the last day of Championship); 9th session: 110KG category.

In european 1988 Zacharevich made 203,5 WR 250,5 WR and 452,5 WR. In Seoul 1988 he made 210 and 245. Unreal!

Barre 200 Yea but were lifting 5 killos heavier than today wich means illya clean and jerk better

@@erickgonzalez3199 Zakharevich c&jerked 250,5 in another event. In Seoul he was 108kg, which is actually lighter than Illya's BW when he was competing at -105 ( was around 112 to 114 according to himself prior to the weightcut ) Stefan botev was stronger than Ilyin too. Nervermind, both are HOF weighlifters

@@erickgonzalez3199lya lifted that weight in a tournament called president cup or something like that, that was an exhibition tournament, Zakharevich lifted his best mark in world championship and olympic game, both are different things. Yuri Zakharevich is the best non-super heavy weight lifter and everybody knows that

До 88 Юрий был просто недосягаем. Но в 89 как то быстро сошёл в никуда. Помниться баранка на детских для него 240 и все. И непонятна причина такого спада.

@@barre2002, возможно, в книге об этом ничего. Но рывок то он выполнял прекрасно, где явно требуется большая нервная свежесть, а вот все три попытки на 240 провалил именно на фиксации. И взятие и посыл были без проблем. А что именно занегативил Алексеев? Ужесточил допинг контроль?

@@Oleg_Zaharov в рывке и килограммы поменьше, и нагрузка на локоть меньше. Плюс обострилась старая травма локтя. Поэтому фиксировать было сложно. Об этом говорили члены сборной и сам Алексеев. С алексеевым был скандал, недопонимание. Характерами не сошлись.
