Yeah, we all imagined them simply reworking a great platform from BF1 into WWII skins and having an awesome game. Not the way it went though. BFV is the worst BF game ever.

This was hands down the best game during its cycle I might go back to it

Missed BF1 lately & decided to play through the BF1 campaign for the first time since launch. The atmosphere, the stories, gunplay, emotions, music etc. So bloody good & then still so disappointing they went from this to BFV. They had such huge potential to easily build upon & improve on BF1, making the ultimate WW2 game with the same level of atmosphere & storytelling. What we got instead was embarrassingly mediocre for a variety of stupid decisions.

Isn't it weird how the more hyper-realistic trend in V made it look... crushed? Ironically, the thematically darker game (BF1) was rich in color. Such a shame the art style didn't carry over.

I loved when the music kicked in on Passchendale and the two cavalry horses rode past it looked friggin epic, I need to get my ass back on BF1 for sure

i'm from South Africa and we have tons of servers , all dead dead dead . Now i am forced to play on EU servers with about 180 - 200 latency . There is moments where the network coding seems to be on my side and i get some nice kills ( flanking is key ) . Despite all the Negatives the game still looks great and is fun to play and if all else fails there is always Campaign to play XD

The HE one is super good IMO. I can use it to yet it across the map fr behind cover and still destroy holdings that people are hiding in. Plus power to annoy tanks is great.

For me, it's just the middle way when I want to contribute to destroy a tank but mortar and limpet are both not an option.

BF1 was amazing! The music, the details in the maps... theguns! Such satisfying gameplay

People don't always understand the chills you get sometimes from the coolest video game moments like when 60 people are opening fire

These are the games that make me feel all warm and fuzzy when I see them again. Definitely downloading this at the weekend for a fee games again

Never seen this map. My goodness, the lighting and sunset! Makes my wanna start BF1 again :D

Dude, i've been playing custom hardcore servers on PS the past few days. Absolutely awesome. They need to make Hardcore THE Standard and have some newbie servers with the current "standard" 200% health. Boom, there you go. "Best" high profile FPS this side of the multiverse.

This is the American M1917 version rifled in .30-06 actually, but yeah, it’s basically the same gun.

One of the best memories from Bf1 is solving the easter eggs for the Peacekeeper. What an amazing experience and reward for your work!

How beautiful is it that this map starts at night then goes onto sunrise, such a beautiful shift in colour pallet and ambiance.

rewatching your older BF1 videos made me start playing it again.

I listen to sounds of cabin during storms to sleep every night. I have issues sleeping and have found it truly helps me relax and shut off my mind.

The music they made in this game was legendary honestly

The difference between BF1 and BF5 is mostly the atmosphere. It's Like day and night. BF1 feels Like real war. BF5 Just feels like a weird shooter.

The graphics and art direction of battlefield 5 are just way off. The game just looks too clean and pristine for the most horrific war in recorded history. The war with multiple genocides, ethnic cleansings, indiscriminate bombardments and destroyed cities yet the game looks super clean for some reason. It doesn't have the grittiness of battlefield 1.

9:04 what’s so great is that the hud doesn’t block 70% of your vision and make entire groups of enemies running out from an objective area you’re looking at completely invisible thus dying bc you literally could not see them at all like in battlefield V
