***** Thank you very much, i would agree with your decision, they may seem pricey but i feel like they are worth every penny, they are both my most detailed figures along with Niels an SS engineer, they all have superb detail and are really well articulated.

Nice video. I'm trying to collect all the DID WW1 figures. I just got my first a few weeks ago: The Max Muller figure, however, I got the special "weathered" edition. He's awesome, blood stains and dirt on him. The clean version looks beautiful too. I'd love to collect both versions of every figure eventually. The British soldier is hard to find for me.

Nice. I was thinking of buying the DiD Albert Brown figure, is it easy to put together? do I need glue for shoulder insignia?

Thanks, yes, if you have previous experience with 1/6 than yes he is relatively easy to assemble. Indeed you do need glue for the insignia. Hope this helps!

Yes it is called a pickelhaube Überzug, these were worn when as per regulation when on the battlefield. As the pickelhaube was deemed a liability due to it’s reflect-ability. What you see is there are two screws at the side of the helmet, which can pop out and the strap will then be able to be fed through the Überzug. Where you can then connect the leather strap back in. So then you have a battlefield ready German! Hope this helps.

Isabelle Sayer I got both of these a few years ago. At the time I think I paid about £100 for each of them. I think the German was £90 and the Brit was £100. They have both gone up a fair bit since. Thanks for the comment as always :)

It really does depend where you are from. In the UK like me, there are a few places such as eBay but also Modellers loft, where you can get most of the WW1 figures. Hope this helps!

Keep in mind I got these over 3 years ago now, at the time I paid £90 for Max Muller and £100 for Albert Brown. Nowadays Max goes for around £120 and Albert for about £150 from what I have seen.
