Do you people ask yourself why Kenya is always the beacon of peace, and mediator between the all horn of Africa countries? It's important to note that Ethiopia, Somalia, and Sudan are largely generations of originally mixed Eurasian and African Bantu and Nilote people, (Cushite) while Kenya has it's population comprised of Bantu, Nilotes, and Cushites, but the largest being a mix of all. Yet the Cushite all over the Horn never seem to have peace amongst themselves. Eurasian means from Europe and Asia - Turkey, Indians, Arabia, Orients, Persians, Spartans etc.

I would like to appreciate to the dearest Ambassador of Ethiopia, Dina Mufti. Really you are very wise gentleman responding in diplomatic manner. I am proud of you. Whereas, the crazy man of Eritrea is too lazy. Rather than answering the question he tried to blame Ethiopia. I think he doesn't know the reality of Eritrean people & the Eritrean government, in which they are antagonistic each other. He simply sit in Kenya asymptotically & he is a victim of hunger that is observed from his face and his behavioral aptitude. Any one can advice him to migrate to Ethiopia for his survival.

If you listen carefully, you would understand that the demarcation doesn't bring about anything. The disputed areas bring no significant resources to the table and wouldn't contribute to a change in either economies. This is all psychological. The trends of the regime in Eritrea are clear and Ethiopia is too big of a place to allow this continuation. TPLF is melting into Ethiopia, just as it should. There is a time for everything.

If 5000 Eritreans are able to get out every month, that means 60,000 were able to get out. Over a span of 25 Years, that amounts to 1, 500,000 people able to get out of this so-called "great prison". I personally am mixed. For that, it's pushed me in my adult life to literally sit with all of Horn of Africa people. Eritreans, Ethiopians, Somalis, Sudanese, and Kenyans. And what I have seen among all save from Kenyans, is that Cushites for their lack of a solid African identity, yet being African, only made so by their ancestry preferring Eurasian alignment are enormously divided. They grapple over who is superior btwn Indians, Arabs, and Turks. It's no wonder Somalis have now aligned with Turkey. Racially mixed people all suffer from an identity crisis, worse it is for those who align with the visitors. That is the case of most of the Horn Of Africa, save for Kenya.

ኣምባሳደር ተብየው የሻዕብያ ጀሌ ....እንጣጢዕ ንዘርእ ኣለና ነገር። the ethio-eritrea border leave it for the people at the border. we know our border and we know each othwr very well. l am not talking based on the info i got like most of you. i am from the border, but the eritrean government was claiming deep in to tigray and i was at the border when the eritrean military came to our neighborhood with out any warning. there was no ethiopian mulitary at all at the border until about a week since the eritrean military arrived. militia from each village was fighting the eritrean military for about 5 days. i was there personally in my village i was able to witness the fighting. then the ethiopian army arrived and took over the fighting. the ethiooian side was not prepared at all for the war while the eritrean side take over zalambesa. so when i hear the Eritrean gov trying to paint the lies, it make me sick. it was all planed by the eritrean government. until the eritrean military came to zalambesa in may 1998, there was any sign of military at the border and the eritrean and ethiopian people was shoping at the same market. AND THIS IS THE TRUTH....So for the eritriabn ambasador and givernmet to claim, ethiopoa started the war is a white lie because we from the border know that is not true!!!!#####

who is owners from all Eritrea to Aksum, Ethiopia ? there are owners or original people or natives of Eritrea and Ethiopia . their's owners or native of that country but they don't have any problems those people with both. they didn't say anything about borders. those people aren't allowed to said about borders.

What an awful program. The host did a very poor job. Every time she asked a question, she would interrupt the response immediately. She could not follow up on the responses with intelligent counter arguments. She had no control of the conversation whatsoever. It was hard to watch this mess. What was the purpose of this debacle?

I am Eritrean but I hate my government policy and I don't like anyone hurt my people Eritrean people they are nice people... Eritrean people suffered a lot they need to get the freedom we haven't seen freedom I am sick and tired about this stupid politics....

For both officials of the countries, please try to feed your citizens rather than fighting.

shimendi tewolde becauae he didnt go to school since he came back from Sahel caves, still his mind is in jungle weak emotional person like his boss Issayas, indeed the problem of Shabia officials is that the can not swallow truth most of them are arrogant including Issayas, except Yemane gebreav and the late Eritrean Ambassador Russom who have better understanding of outside world due to their exposure to external world schools
