It's called Geo engineering.

So, I'm a retired psychiatrist in the US, former avid sailor, and weather nerd. Today, I looked, again, at the Copernicus Climate Change Service feed, particularly the day to day, month to month graph of global air temp increases and was astounded to see that we hit 1.54 degC in 2023, but the second half of the year and continuing this year we are on a trajectory that may well take the planet to 2 degC by the end of this year, 2.5 degC by the end of 2025, and 3 degC by the end of 2026!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That temp will make life unsustainable planet wide. We have gone way, way beyond the tipping points of 1.2 trillion tons of melting global ice/yr. (3.3 billion tons per DAY), the 321 cubic miles of ocean heating to 70degF in mid-latitudes, and the 1 trillion tons per day of evaporating water vapor, all of which are struggling to cool down our overheated planet. Our incessant burning of 8 billion tons of coal/yr., and 100 million barrels of oil/day, along with the GHG fueled Greenhouse Effect, are producing the heat energy equivalent of 13.3 Hiroshima nuclear bomb blasts (63 trillion BTUs per blast) PER SECOND (ref-Eliot Jacobson), or 1,149,120 per day. We are mindlessly setting our house afire, and, now, we want to dig more coal, drill for more oil and gas, and continue to "grow" economies/populations? We are mad as a hatter and, in the US, we deserve the last president, Our Mad King Donald. Best wishes to our Aussie neighbors!

@gregleavitt1255 If there are too many people, why aren't you guys saving the planet, lead by example, so everyone is waiting, go first. Gotta start somewhere, and according to you guys, it's a small sacrifice to make for the world. Start a record of the people that gave their all, so to speak, for the planet. Warming is caused by .........hot breath.
