I purchased this course too yesterday and so far I am pleased with it. I can't wait to finish it! It seems legit and it is accredited unlike some other TEFL/TESOL certificate I got last month that I could not even use.

@@lucasmhlongo8109 Oh I finished this a long time ago but I recommend it, really well done. I remembered some things I already learned in school. Never used the certificate I got. I do teach English but I don't need it since I have a degree and a master's degree already that helped me teach English but you need one if you want to teach abroad or online.

From their website, you can use the course to teach in classroom settings. Personally, I've only ever used the course to teach online. If you don't have any previous teaching experience, I would recommend that you also check the free 20-hour practicum the company offers to teachers who have completed the 120-hour TESOL/TEFL course.

Hi Angella! What do you mean by level? Like CEFR levels? If that's the case, I would recommend that you be at least B2/C1 level to be able to use the course for teaching.

To start learning the course, you'll only need a good command of the language. To get a teaching job, you must meet the requirements set by the institution or country you're heading to

Hi Mariam! Suffixes are attached at the end of the word. From your list -ful and -ist are suffixes. Whereas, un- and pre- are prefixes.

Definitely helpful! My major is Biology BTW. I teach English part-time 😊 I'm not familiar with the hiring process in the middle east, unfortunately so I cannot comment on that. Hi! Yes, the offer is valid worldwide. I was in the Philippines when I bought mine and had the certificate delivered in Switzerland after I finished the course.

Not sure about the requirements for ALT in Japan, you'll have to personally check whether they accept obtaining a certificate from online modalities or not. As for Taiwan, this would depend on employer requirements.

It's supposed to be for self-study. If there are questions, you can send the company a message (they have a chat messaging Option) and someone will check on you.

The instructions for authentication are in their website. I have my certificate already but I did not have it authenticated.

@@Sassasupremacy for me it is legit in terms of providing the necessary tools to learn in a TESOL/TEFL class. As I am a teacher as well, their curriculum is good for self-studying. I think some people may find it lacking, and that, in my vocabulary, does not mean it's a scam. Hope that helps you.

The certificate is recognized abroad. Personally , I haven't applied for F2F teaching assignments. If you don't have a previous teaching experience whether online or F2F, I would suggest to check the requirements sa country na gusto mong puntahan and supplement actual teaching experience with volunteer teaching or online ESL.

She says that she finished the 120 course in 2 days. Unless my math is wrong, their are 48 hours in 2 days. Let's say you sleep for 8 hours a day, so subtract 16 from 18, she finished the course in 32 hours??? I would love to think that I could save thousands of dollars and taking a 1 month intensive course to get a TEFL/TESOL and take this course, but this sounds way too fishy for me.

I'm already teaching ESL prior to taking this course. Thus, I breezed through the topics (sort of a review) and took the quizzes. You can actually see all the topics covered before purchasing. If in doubt, don't purchase the course, move along, and look for another course that will suit your needs.

For application to Japan? Japan is strict with teacher qualifications po. If you have a degree in language education + TESOL, pwede po magamit. But if it's TESOL alone, baka mahirapan po kayo if your plan is to work in Japan and not online teaching.

For beginners, it will really take more or less 120 hours. I'm familiar with all the lessons as I teach English online. I simply took the tests after a short review.

I'm taking the course now. The content is very very easy because I'm a practicing teacher and I already studied this stuff at the faculty . However, It may be of challenge to someone new to the field of teaching. My overall aim is to get the certificate.
