In my school people literally have fights every month and only got suspended but sometimes they don’t even get in trouble. I saw some kid in my form literally beating up this scrawny little teacher’s pet and he literally came to next lesson.

I got a detention for needing help in lesson lol

My school has a 'no jewlery rule' and someone in my class was wearing a wristband from his holiday for like 'all - inclusive' and the drama teacher gave him a detention for having it on it is just a small piece of fabric and he was told that it is dangerous to have jewlery cause it could catch on someone's clothes WHY? Also that same person in science class pulled out a whole finger skate park from his blazer pocket and didnt get in trouble - the people who DID get in trouble were the people laughing at him for having it on his desk. Crazy

I came back from holiday, and I had a piece of string on my arm, because a monk put it on me for good luck, so it's religious reasons basically, and I don't think a teacher can tell u off for that

There are lots of teachers that are strict in the UK

My strictest teacher was my top set maths teacher (UK). Not only did she charge you if you yawned but threatened to hit us with the meter sticks! We had some refuges from Ukraine in our class and would often get them in trouble for not understanding, translating to each-other and doing there maths working in a different way. If you don't show you're working or don't get 20/20 on the everyday homework, hell would be set loose. We had textbooks that we had to cover up in wrapping paper and if you didn't they would get chucked out a window, didn't bring a pencil? She would give you a pencil lead to work with. No tie? Well, no chair for you then. Now, this isn't really strict but when the Ukraine refugges were here she would frectanly ask them, "How long are you planning to stay here?" Man, am i glad i failed that math test and got moved!

I once in year 1 at 6 years old I had to stay in for writing THEM incorrectly but the only reason I misspelled it was because I had Dyslexia then she left to get a tea and when she came back she told me off for saying in all break .

I had one maths teacher that i like to refer to as Ms Trunchbull. One time i had a major operation on my spine so i was off school for weeks, school agreed to send my mock papers to me and when i returned to school i handed every single one in to my teachers. Every single one took them and marked it except for her. Her reasoning? 'you weren't in so you failed'. I also did guitar lessons in school (paid for btw) When i was told it was during Maths Ms Trunchbull complained to me every time, even refusing to let me leave the lesson, i gave up on guitar due to that crap as it messed too much with my mind. I wish i could say she was the only crap teacher but nah, i can only think of one good one.

Missed the question but back in HS I had Bret Hart (yes that Bret Hart) as a substitute for 2 weeks. This was when he was with Stampede Wrestling. The class joker said something. Brett walked over to his desk. Leaned over, flexed, and asked him if he wanted to wrestle over if. Didn’t hear a peep out of the joker for the next 2 weeks. But grade 9 we had a racist abusive teacher. We broke him.

In my school before you get a detention, you get a warning. You are aloud to go to the toilet for only 10 minutes. Some teachers don't even let to go to the toilet. One time a teacher gave a detention to student who went to the toilet without asking her before start of the lesson. Also, if you will be late for your lesson for more than 20 minutes (20 minutes of lateness not for one lesson, for WHOLE WEEK so if you was late for 10 minutes in Monday and late for 11 minutes on Thursday you will get a detention) you will get a detention. If you didn't do 3 homeworks in one term, you will get a detention ( same for equipment marks and outclass warnings but instead of don't it will be do). To be honest, I got detention for that. Also you will get a detention for chewing gum+£15 fine. BUT my school is rated one of the best in the North East England! Can someone explain me all of this?

This might not be strict, but this one boy in the year above me got detention, then he went to the boy's bathroom, all alone, no one in the hallway, says he hates the teacher, keep in mind there's no one else nearby, and the teacher finds out and gives him another detention.
