Great explanation without the BS as usual, I've been following the NESTang and SNESTang projects since about 6 months but haven't decided to pull the trigger on the Sipeed Tang Primer 25K till now, as far as I know yours is probably one of the few KZread channels that somehow has uploaded a complete video about how the board works.

Wow this looks awesome! Thanks for the video! If SNES can work on it, then I'm guessing that Genesis would be possible, too... as well as the majority of 8-bit systems. This has the potential to be a really affordable FPGA competitor to the MiSTer.

Great video! Once the cores mature some more, this could be an interesting potential for handhelds. It would be awesome to have a cheap option for FPGA gaming on the go!

As a MiSTer user, this device looks very intriguing. I hope eventually there is a module to plug this into a CRT some day, and more cores/controller modules for other consoles.

This would be perfect if someone put this in raspberry pi format, 3 specifically, so it would go into a Retroflag SNES case. Maybe have a Tapto reader in it and put NFC stickers in the carts Retroflag sells with they system.

Awsome Video! Going to try this out. Looks so promising. I wanted to do the Mister project, but the Mister community is so full of themselves that it put me off. It's one of the worst communities out there. This looks like it will help more people get into FPGA gaming. I hope the community for this won't suffer the same as the Mister one.

Do you know if they are going to support actual SNES controllers for this? Assuming it's a case of a new PCB board with 2x SNES ports, and then the FPGA core working with them. There's no info about if that is going to be a future goal?

Those messed up sound effects bring me back to the early days of SNES emulation. I remember lots of little quirks in many games when I played them back in the day on snes9x and zsnes.

I like the SNES a lot and consider it being one of my favorite systems to play on. Analouge's solutions are polished but way to expensive for my pocket but this looks fine despite the beta software this runs on.

Which version of SNESTang? Make sure you are using the latest. If the latest doesn't work try the version before that. If no version works, it might be a bad sd card reader.
