They should have also had a meditation center in the temple campus. Temples are not just places of worship, they are the places where you gain divine energy from and it could only happen when you sit there for some time and realise the changes happening to your mind and body. Unfortunately Hindu temples have become limited to 'places of worship' these days unlike the ancient times, where people actually stayed in the temples and studied and gained the knowledge about life.

When you worship some one, you follow quality of teachings , when shri Swaminaraya incarnated in this world, he said: who follows the path of virtuoness and non-violence with Good qualities of human, its my words that no one will suffer with food and clothes. He said my incarnation is for to make every soul pure with all good qualities, so every soal can live with God. I came here to protect every soul with constant suffering from birth cycle and lots off pain. i will make every soal pure with love and good teaching. When you read the words of shri Swaminarayan, its not only for one religion. Its for all human kind, all living bieng. If you chance just read Sikshapatri of only 220 shlok. Thats why i think BAPS could do such things in large scale with unity. First teaching you will learn that, Just remove "I", belive you are the servent of evry one. see God in every living being. Serve evry one like your master. Because, in evry soul God resides through his power, so if you hurt any one, you are hurting God only.
