Actually our education system has required English subjects in our school curriculum since 1994, so Indonesian kids can learn English since they are 7 years old. But somehow most Indonesians, especially these generation z still don't know how to speak English. Thank you for your effort to put the subtitles.

I will be going to Indonesia in October for 3 weeks. Will be staying in Jakarta and Bandung. I really miss the country I was born and can't wait to visit Indonesia again. I will definitely be taking the bullet train from Jakarta to Bandung and eat all the Indonesian food that I miss so much.

when you off the bullet train in Padalarang station, you should transfer into local train (free) to Bandung station, don't take taxi from Padalarang to Bandung because of bad traffic

Yeah Bandung to Jogja is the best train route in Indonesia. And I love it especially when you take the midnight train and arrive at sunrise in Bandung...😊

I agree with you guys, that long trips that don't take a day trip are very comfortable using intercity train services like that. Actually Indonesia in the last 10 years or so has improved their service comfort, variety of train classes, and also modernized their stations. Anyway, there are two new classes whose services were just launched in less than the last year, namely New Generation Premium class and Suite Compartment class (sleeper class). I think the last one is the most highest class of Indonesian intercity train service to this date. We hope that other types of public transport such as cruise ships and ferries in Indonesia will soon change quickly in terms of modernization, such as train services. It has started to be implemented but not yet completely, because Indonesia is an archipelagic country, and of course comfortable and modern sea transportation is really needed. Enjoy your trip and stay healthy.. Thanks.

Actually, there are a lot improvement in sea transportation lately (even still not as good as Train services). They are two biggest ferries providers, PELNI (government) & Dharma Rucita (private company and has variety of classes provided).

Aaahhh Jogjakarta. Bring back all the uni memories. 7:49 the sun shine on Adriana's face when she took her 1st bite of her croissant, perfect timing. Enjoy the world guys. Stay safe.

I knew there was a reason why I left Indonesia and Philippines for a stabd alone trip even without know whynso I can travel by train. I love trains sooo much.

One of my favourite videos so far... you know sometimes, when you stay in a room you get a special feeling.. 😂 that's what I got with this room it was so nice. I hope one day my travel videos are as good as yours ❤

Great video & awesome train. Chiming in from Perth. We have friends in Perth who's family still live in Jogja. We have visited them a few times now by catching a local jet from Bali (as we have combined both places into one holiday trip) and their family have taken us during one visit a 3 night/4 day road trip around the region which is amazing especially the high terrain countryside which is stunning as so lush. You need time to explore this special region as so much to see and it is rich in culture and not overrun by tourists & traffic (a refreshing change from Bali)

At first Bandung was one big mountain called Mount Purba, then it erupted in the middle to become a big lake then the water receded and it became the city of Bandung, that's why the city of Bandung is surrounded by mountains.

wait until you see the newest luxury suites sleeper train, it’s like a 5 stars hotel gliding on a rail

If you guys came earlier, you can wait at the lounge that provides for every passenger start from executive class to above. The lounge serves for free and there is always The Lounge in every large or grand train station in Java Island.

more precisely on the island of Java. because Indonesia consists of many islands. trains only exist on the islands of Java, Sumatra and Sulawesi. there are really many choices only on the island of Java

i’d love to see you two starts a sumatera island and sulawesi island trip using intercity train after this java island series which for sumatera you can actually use trans java intercity train from java, hop on ferry and continue the journey from lampung using trans sumatera intercity train and you’ll get a slightly different countryside scenery from each islands (ps: trans sumatera and trans sulawesi intercity train are a bit more spacious than trans java train). or perhaps you can end your indonesian trip on batam, another modern part of indonesia located on the riau archipelago province next door of singapore. or or you can go to labuan bajo, mandalika, and komodo pink beach island in the mean time. i’m just so excited to see you two guys go travel❤
