I went zip lining before and the scariest part for me was jumping off of the platform. It's like you know you're going to be safe but you're still too chicken to get off 😅

I always wondered why they can't put something like this on Mt. Everest for emergencies only. Yes, I know a lot more people would be using it just so they don't have to climb down, but it would save lives.

I hate zip-lines! I'm going for a giant thumbs-down that I was on one out of nowhere! I once had to do the zip-line in Camp Huntington as I couldn't get the belt off until my zip-lining was absolutely through. It was scary as hell! It was horrible! It was 4 years ago & it was the only time I've ever done it. If I have to do this again, I'll be frustrated even more!

just for your information.. this plastic hard outer shell is attached to your head via some straps which do absorb some energy. if it works in alpine climbing, where it protects you from falling rock, it should as well protect you from some smaller birds for example. and this shell does not shatter so easily as one might think.
