@@DrDuu No, indeed. In the last seconds you see them carrying the ropes on land. They were not throwing a bag with a line, as they would normally do.

A ship of that size would normally require tugs to maneuver around like that. Bow and stern thrusters seem to be doing the job. Not sure I would want to take that chance on a windy day tho.

Gordon Byron they’re only out to help with docking. You really don’t see them. The ships are built to separate crew from guests except for being served. Also people who buy $800m boats do it to display wealth and power.

This is a yacht, not a yawl.

300m 125,000 tonne cruise ship AIDAprima carrying 3300 passengers cost $650M, the 15,917 tonne Dilbar cost 150M more? Looks like Alisher got ripped off. Ripped off badly. The cruise ship even has a higher cruising speed of 22kts vs Dilbar's 18kts.

It costs more because the interior has far more expensive materials. Materials a cruise ship can’t afford to replace due to 3,300 guests trampling it.

A costumized yacht of this size takes a lot of planning and about 1,5 to 2 million man hours of work! So the workers salary alone is already 100 to 200 million €. Then add the material cost of both the exterieur and the interior which will also go nine digit. And then of course the builder of the yacht also wants and needs to earn money. So while it sounds like an insane amount of money(which it is),it is still justified.😊

This is a spectacular waste of money. How often is usamnov on the yacht. I bet 50% of it he has never stepped foot on

. If your a 30 billion dollar russian, You need to spend it some how. This is how. Largest private Yacht in the World. This baby goes 22 knotts an hour, has submarines and subs that come out of the subs (just kidding, I guess) this baby has water jets! every where - she can Maneuver on a dime, by herself, (even through she is 15,000 tons) with out any tug boats at all - a real Girl!
